id take him in...if i knew about it before he died. i would NEVER hurt a cat au dog...unless they hurt me. that is really sad.

What a cruel world. This is so sad. Whenever I see an abandoned stray, I take it to the nearest no-kill animal shelter so it can be in kind and loving hands (since I certainly can't take care of it).

Several years ago, me and my family were driving nyumbani from an amusement park. The lane we were in was to the very far right, right inayofuata to the sidewalk. We stopped at a red light. Just then, the car in front of us rolled down their window and threw a small box out the car and it landed onto the sidewalk. When the light turned green, the car sped off into the distance. We pulled over, curious to see why they would do that. We opened up the box, and we didn't expect to see a tiny, dirty kitten curled up inside, wimping in pain. We were ashamed of the people for just tossing the poor creature onto the streets. We took the kitten with us, and we drove to the nearest vet. There, we learned that the kitten was about a mwezi old and a boy. He had a broken leg, infected ear and eye, and was missing half his tail (we just figured that the kitten has born with a short tail). It was appeared to be cut in half. They treated the infections and the broken leg. The kitten stayed there for 2 nights.

Me and my dad went to pick him up. He was a lot cleaner, and we were able to see that he was a gray and white semi-fluffy taby. His leg and tail were bandaged, and his ear was cut off. They had to cut it off, because it was so infected that it was useless to him, and only adding pain. We were aliyopewa different kinds of medicine to give him regularly, and a bag of chakula that suites his needs.

When we got home, we named him Voldemort. Why? I really don't know. My sister decided on it, and the rest of us openly agreed to it. My dad actually wanted James, after Harry James Potter, which probably fit the kitten better. My brother wanted Dumbledore, simply because we were thinking of Harry Potter names, so he just threw that one in. In the end, we decided on Voldemort.

Voldemort is now 3 years old. He is currently purring on my bed, happily playing with a catnip toy (he LOVES catnip). He gets along great with my other cat Bryce and my dog Hermione. =)

thats so sweet of wewe and your family! as for the people who just threw him out the window like that, they can eat crap and die. i have one cat named Saffron (like after the spice) he is machungwa, chungwa with a white neck and white paws. years zamani my older sisters friend was moving with the rest of her family and she had to give most of her Cats away. so we got Saffron. i upendo him to death. he's my kitty Saff, as i call him. :)

Most people are that shallow. I have never alisema that everyone is that shallow, but it is a fact that people do not end animal's life to help them just because they think they can save them and have them as pets au whatever.

I agree with monrose. I hate to see things suffer like that, and though it would pain me to do such a thing wewe can't just watch howl in pain. That's a slow death...probably the worst thing to do. Sure wewe may want to save it, but what good will it do if it has no chance?

Poor Ugly. He reminds me of a stray that wandered into my yard. He had 6 claws on his paw. Everyone thought he was ugly and deformed but I thought he was cute. So I kept him even though my family kept telling me to get rid of him. But they grew to upendo him too because he was so sweet and cuddly and always slept on my kitanda all siku (they alisema I taught him that xD) and he went to everybody for a pat. Then one siku I came nyumbani and he wasn't on my kitanda sleeping, which he almost always was. My mum had aliyopewa him to my aunty and I was so mad XD But I'm fine now because my aunty loves pets and I know she takes care of Six.
Oh yeah I named him Six haha
Poor Ugly. I'm going to find my other cat Tiger now and give him a hug :(
