What words that affect your feelings? :')

There are a bunch of times where words affect me.

Powerful nukuu and/or great lines from vitabu will leave me stunned and blinking, and of course, I'll have to go and re-read the lines over and over.
"There are some things children cannot know, because once they learn them they are no longer children."

And then there's the words spoken kwa my exes au the people I'm currently dating, admissions of upendo that make my moyo soar, au the gentle break ups that send a tear cascading down my cheek. They might be five dakika long speeches au one-liners au anything in between.
"Once, we were good. Once, we belonged together. That was then; this is now."

Or... au when people say things like "You're a dyke" au "He's a fag." I hate that. It's like a ngumi, punch to the heart. Every time I hear those words, it's just a reminder that I will never be accepted.

And truth. Truth leaves me the most breathless.

I've read billions of words in my life, and of course, many of them affected my feelings along the way.

But these words from Jason Mraz's song "Life is wonderful" always make me feel this huge thing beating in my throat ...

... those are the wisest and mature combination of words I've ever heard ... especially when wewe realize they were written kwa a 28 year-old ...

(among my 15,000 au so songs in my muziki repertoire, I can say this song is my all-time inayopendelewa - and that's saying something, believe me!)
