Where does your name come from?

I'm not looking for the meaning au whatever. Just find out where your parents came up with your name, and if wewe were named after someone, find out who they were named after, and so on, as far back as wewe can go.

My mom named me Shondell after the group Tommy James and the Shondells. Tommy James named his group after an American singer named Troy Shondell. So my first name was originally a last name. Cool!
