We call oranges their name for their color.. Why dont't we call banana's 'yellow'?

If we should call banana's yellow, then I put yellow's on my cereal all the time! XD

There's zaidi than one kind of red.We have tomatoes,remember.What would we call that?XD

Well.. maybe because there are other fruits the same color.. (Orange is almost like the only machungwa, chungwa fruit. [Kinda doubt it though])

Like, Lemons. Lemons are yellow as well..
And, like apples, tomatoes are red..

I dunno.. :P

cherry is a color. cherry fruits. cherry = sorta dark red

how do wewe know its not the other way around and that the color machungwa, chungwa was named after the matunda O_o? so instead the color yellow would be banana, ndizi like today I was coloring and my banana, ndizi marker dried out au my apple(red) crayon broke in half.

and P.S. (I'm contradicting what I alisema above ^^)there are many colors of apples, like dhahabu apples, green apples, and there's green bananas and I like the word banana.
P.S.S the world (government) just wanted to make up zaidi words to get us even zaidi confused than we possibly could've been. That's why they say those big words, so we don't understand half of what their saying. ^_^

Because the machungwa, chungwa wanted to be unique.

I think banana, ndizi means yellow in some other language.. not sure but... yeh :P

Because banana, ndizi sounds awesome XD
