The calendar is supposed to stop counting kwa December 31st of this mwaka and i can tell wewe right now this rumor is fake.
I suppose most people got the gig from that episode of Family Guy called "Da Boom" when the world ended at the beginning of 2000.
That explains why these rumors are going around possibly because people are so worried about pollution, air quality, and any kind of chaos that will happen.
