I don't know what it is - I know it's anime but I've never seen it and have no idea what it's about - but if it's something that's not on tv then i probably won't watch it - i don't like watching things on the computer :-/

Yeah, it's not on TV that often. It's basically an anime where countries of the world are people and they basically reenact history in hilarious ways.

And the fans... Well, something maarufu like that spreads like wildfire. I believe the term I used for it years and years zamani was "mind poison". I came up with the term at the dawn of the Twilight craze and used it to describe any work with a rapid-growing shabiki base. However, some of these mashabiki get a little... Out of hand. They're the crazies. A minority of any fandom, yet the most prominent piece and the piece used to stereotype an entire group of thousands of people across the world. And call me a hippocrite for being a Hetalian complaining about stereotypes, but I don't see how fair it is that a few mashabiki act out and suddenly all mashabiki are nut jobs.
I used to think of myself as "immune to mind poison" back during those days of the Twi-craze, but Hetalia aliiba that immunity. The thing is, unlike Twilight, Hetalia actually interested me and could create outside fan-made plots that weren't so cliche that I could gag myself.

No offense.

And another thing: Hetalia is one of those "love-it-or-hate-it" things. So I bet that you'll find plenty of people who hate it and plenty who upendo it, but not a ton there in the middle on Team Switzerland about it (and that was NOT a Hetalia joke, I've been calling the neutral side Team Switzerland since I was ten).
So, even though I personally upendo it to death, everyone has their opinion.

Oh, and for those of wewe who were, please don't stereotype an entire shabiki base based on the actions of far and few.
