Should I have just alisema "thank you?"

I'm 14. I take public transportation to and from school. When I got to my stop to go home, this guy and some other people got off. The guy was walking inayofuata to me when he casually alisema in a low voice "nice legs." I didn't know what to say so I just alisema "oh" while looking at the ground. But then I started to feel offended so I looked at him like "what the fuck" while he was looking back at me and then moved away from him. It looked like he was in his mid to late 20s and he was pretty attractive but I was still creeped out. My friend who is a guy alisema that he was just trying to be nice and that I shouldn't make a big deal out of it. So was his compliment sincere and was just trying to be nice and I should have alisema "thank you", au was he a pedophile for saying that? (Also, I do look older that I am but I was wearing my school uniform so it wasn't like he didn't know I was a minor.)

I would have done the same. If it makes wewe feel uncomfortable, wewe shouldn't feel obliged to say thank wewe whether he meant anything pervy kwa it au not. Plus, if you're a student and he seemed that much older than you, I wouldn't trust it as anything but, anyway. I think you're reaction was justified.

In my opinion it sounds kinda pervy but it could of been a compliment but since it came from a 20 mwaka old it's still strange.

Sorry if this confused wewe au didn't help at all I just realized my answer REALLY sucked

In a low voice, nice legs...

Hmm, in a low voice. That is not okay.

Complimenting legs is not an average thing to do, nor is it taken as a compliment in today's society.

Either he was SUPER socially impaired, au was honestly a pervert. He could have said:
"You look nice today"
"You have a gorgeous pair of legs!"

That is zaidi appropriate.
If it was in a low voice, than that is quite strange.

If it happens again, tell him that wewe do not feel comfortable with that maoni and to say zaidi appropriate compliment.

I would certainly not say thanks to that, if his tone was friendly and positive, then sure I'd say thank wewe and songesha back, but it seems like his tone was quite dangerous

The tone matters, not the comment.

^it was I wierd low voice though. Low and quiet like he didn't want anyone to hear him. The tone in his voice did not sound like he had good intentions. If he had alisema it in a nice, and light tone, it wouldn't have been as awkward and suspicious.

well try to see it from the mans point of view.

he was probably just being nice like your male friend tried to point out.

but he didnt try to do any thing to hurt wewe au any thing of that sort except compliment wewe .

however if he did seem a but aggressive au hostile then i guess that language was used appropriately .

but if he just seemed calm and nice and no threat then he just meant it as a nice thing to say to a person with nice legs .

Yeah. Maybe. I'm just not used to getting compliments like that. I usually get compliments on stuff like my clothes, hair, au just being pretty in general. But a component on my body Im not used to so it freaked me out a little. :\

Eh, wewe didn't need to respond.
Though, its probably no big deal. He was just complimenting you.
Most men naturally has low voices, so it was likely his natural voice. Tbh, men's voices gets higher usually when they talk to someone he finds attractive. He could of possibly had alisema it to another woman inayofuata to wewe since there were other people getting off as well and wewe just happen to be there. Anybody can have nice legs, though it doesn't necessarily mean the person who complimented was sexually attracted to wewe just for having nice legs.

wewe should definitely not have alisema thank you. If something someone says au does makes wewe uncomfortable, don't pretend to be okay with it.

Yeah I would've reacted the same but when wewe think about it wewe did the right thing...He seemed much older and it was pretty clear that you're a minor from the school uniform. If wewe alisema thank wewe he might have got wewe further into a conversation and then what could happen? Ok,I might be exaggerating but no,it's alright that wewe didn't say anything...

God no, definitely no need to say thank wewe hahaha

If wewe don't feel comfortable with his compliment, don't feel obliged to respond.

It happened to me and I kinda didn't know what to do so I just pretended I didn't hear, and kept walking. maoni like those creep the fck out of me coming from any stranger :L
