Is it just me au are sinema receiving nyumbani releases/releasing onto DVDs earlier than usual nowadays?

I seem to noticed that sinema are receiving nyumbani releases/releasing onto DVDs WAY earlier than usual especially nowadays

I remember The Lion King came out in cinemas in June 1994 and wasn't release on VHS till March 1995.
Nowadays is ridiculous anyways when it comes to movies.

You're not the only one. I've noticed that sinema usually come out like 4 au 5 months after it was released in the theaters, however it doesn't bother me that much if I never got to see the movie I want to see in the theaters.
