I always recommend trying out Chuck Palahniuk books. If wewe don't mind vitabu that are a bit bizarre/disturbing, that is. Here are a few of my favorites:

- Invisible Monsters
- Damned
- Survivor
- Fight Club
- Beautiful wewe (probably not a good one for a birthday orodha you're giving to your parents though)

And if wewe don't have them already, there are two books, I think they're called 412 Things to Draw and 412 Things to Write, and they're basically little drawing/writing prompts that are good for inspiration.
