Why do people call girls\woman a Thot? I find that very disrespectful to females.

I took a screenshot of someone's maoni on a Sword Art Online All Intros/Opening video. The person was talking about the blond guy Eugeo getting won over kwa a woman. I don't get why people have to call females a Thot. That seems kinda rude and sexist. Not even joking at all. I know some people mean it as a joke, but it isn't a joke. That is very rude to females. I don't get why au even where people got that idea from. But it isn't cool to call females a Thot. I am not sure why people say that. wewe don't hear females treating boys/men like that.
