What made them think they were so important that i HAD to hate them just because i didn't like them au know them in any way at all.

Just because someone isn't particularly warm to wewe doesn't mean they hate you, it just means that they feel nothing towards you.
There are people who are hated, but others mistake indifference with malevolence, which annoys me to no end.
