bila mpangilio Do wewe think $3 is a fair price for a soft serve cone from the Ice cream truck? Would wewe pay that much?

It's a fair price...I think. I just don't really eat ice cream, so would not pay.

It's been a long time since I've had Mr. Softie's ice cream. Last I had it, they were only charging $2. Of course when I first started getting ice cream from the truck, it was only $1 and then it just kept going up.

EgoMouse, u & I r the same: I don't like ice cream, but I think $1.50 is good enough, not $3.

Considering the price of gas, I doubt that an ice cream truck vendor could sell it for any cheaper than that and still make a profit. I'd probably buy one out of nostalgia- I use to love the ice cream truck when I was a kid. But they're a dying breed. It's been a long time since I've seen one in my neighborhood.

Normal freezer burned Popsicles or ice cream sandwiches from the ice cream man are being sold for $3 anyway, I would prefer a soft serve any day.

I could swear it was $2.50 last year.
