Shampoo Ranma

soulfire524 I'm just noting, I didn't post this as an insult to Shampoo, rather, after reading comments made to the image and realized most were positive like "Shampoo is so cute" " I love it, she's so pretty" "Beautiful colors" " Shampoo looks so bubbly and cute" "I love it, you can see how soft she is" So I realized that it wasn't meant to be insulting, it was 1.) Meant to be funny and 2.) Most viewing this image seemed to find really heavy women attractive So to cover all the bases I posted this one. I've seen images of Shampoo, Ranma-chan, Akane, and Ukyo; where they were drawn ( I guess you'd say alot larger than they really are) but this is the only one that I thought the character was still kinda cute even though she was drawn heavier. Also some other artists draw the Ranma 1/2 females heavy ( due to preference, not to insult them) and it was like they drew them working out, jogging, martial arts, ect, but they were sweaty and out of breath, looking kinda miserable, so I posted this one because even though Shampoo has some extra weight, she still looks peppy and energetic like the Shampoo most who are fans of her adore.

soulfire524 The only person who seemed to enjoy it as an insult, commented that they really didn't like ANY of the Ranma 1/2 cast, especially Shampoo, and thought that ALL of the characters were too self serving. Now, at times he may have a point, but Rumiko Takahashi was said to have once stated that she thought flawed characters were more interesting. ( You can especially see that in her cannon couples, sometimes it seems that they are the most flawed characters in the series but at the same time they are also perfect for each other.)

soulfire524 Some others commenting on this work thought it was really cute, not because they found a real attraction to heavy woman but because Mousse having glasses on, was still in love and chasing after Shampoo. They commented that they, " Mousse's heart filled Kwak was not because he found heavy women attractive, but because with or without his glasses, whether Shampoo was large or small, Old or young, it was always Shampoo. Shampoo is the only girl in Mousse's eyes and no matter what she looks like he still loves her simply because she's Shampoo, and to some, Shampoo is the only girl Mousse will ever love, even if shampoo never returns it." I kinda liked those comments, they brought the real romantic out in me. And made me think
