My ship is not canon 

I watch this show, I watch this story happen, and I see it.

No matter what narrative you’re trying to push, no matter how hard you try to rewrite the story, Emma and Regina are the core of this show. You don’t even need to ship them romantically to see that. But why don’t you try? Why don’t you try for once to change your perspective a little?

Like all fairytales it begins with a hero and a villain.

This fairytale is about love, it’s about redemption, it’s about family. 

You have a woman who’s been hurt so much she can’t do anything but hurt back. This woman has a heart filled with darkness and yet desperatly aching to love again. And she doesn’t know, yet, how good she is at loving.

You have a woman who’s faced rejection and loneliness all her life. This woman is made out of light but she can see the shades of grey. And she doesn’t know, yet, how much she wants to be loved.

There’s a woman desperatly seeking for her happy ending.

There’s a woman who’s been fated to give it back.

There’s a woman who doesn’t know how to say ‘thank you’ or ‘I’m sorry’ or ‘I need you’.

There’s a woman who doesn’t know how to trust and say what she wants and not run away.

They’re opposites. They’re complementary. They’re a family.

Why would you try to erase it? In a show where one line of dialogue is enough to prompt people to ship a heterosexual couple no matter how random the ship, why would you try to erase the most complex, developped, interesting relationship on this show, one that actually already exists? What is so threatening about two women loving each other and supporting each other and finding happiness with one another? Why does that scare you so much you’ll call people that ship this beautiful love story delusional?

I’m more than pissed, I’m furious and sad and disgusted.

Tell me my ship isn’t canon. Go ahead, tell me.

They’re here. Emma and Regina. Evil Queen and Savior, mortal enemies and mothers to the same child, reluctant allies, partners, alter egos, friends, two sides of the same coin, heroes. They’re here, “unique” and “special”, fighting for each other and believing in each other and needing each other and saving each other. Whatever you try, they’re here. On your screens.

And no amount of hate and homophobia will change that fact.

Regal Believer is the most beautiful relationship on this show and my OTP. I\'m Rumbelle friendly though critical. I dislike CS but I like people and respect your tastes, also I tag my shit. I ship a lot of femslashs. Other shows, like Person of Interest, Orphan Black, The 100, Jessica Jones, are likely to appear here. Buffy\'s my Holy Grail.
