This is the Institute in Brooklyn. It is an old gothic cathedral that is run by the Lightwoods. The Lightwoods live in the Institute full time but others can live there if they are approved to by the Lightwoods. Only Shadowhunters can open the doors.

(Thank you XD People typically don't pick up on the fact that when my characters are asleep, they're asleep and don't just kinda suddenly wake up rearing to go XD)

Fallax yawned as she entered. He rubbed the spot where she had been at on the bed. "Come back," he said tiredly and quietly.
