Why does people likes effy?

I noticed that people like effy a lot. I don't know why. My fav is Katie and I saw that effy is kinda bad. She hurted Freddie and slept with someone who she doesn't love. And she slept with Freddie after smashing Katie with a rock and that is not good at all. In gen 1 she even disobey her parents and went out to make out with someone who is a criminal. She messed up all the time. But Katie is like mean but still. She doesn't do stuff like Eff, does. Katie was of course mad when she noticed that Eff likes Freddie. Katie pulled Eff's hair because she is mas that Eff would take Freddie away from her. Don't judge me that's what I think.
