I wanted to like the season one finale. I really did. And I know a huge part of finales like this is to leave us with a big cliffhanger so we're all on the edge of our seats going "OHMYGAWD, what's going to happen next?!" and start crossing the days off the calendar to count down the days to Season 2, Episode 1.

They accomplished that. Definitely.

But why this way? It kills me that Henry turned out to be Jeremy. On one hand, cool! Ichabod's son is still alive! Except there's a big problem: Jeremy is the sekunde Horseman. So basically none of it really matters. Jeremy struck a deal with Moloch and he's the sekunde Horseman. He can't really have this sudden revelation and decide to back out of the deal. It's basically not an option.

Which also means that Ichabod is now going to be faced with the hard task of killing his son. au at least, subduing him kwa binding him somehow au something. He is the sekunde Horseman, after all, so killing him probably isn't a real option.

Sleepy Hollow wrapped up its freshman season Monday night with a finale packed full of major twists and a whopper of a cliffhanger that left pretty much every major character in a terrible, life-threatening position.

With Ichabod (Tom Mison) buried six feet under (while still alive), Abbie (Nicole Beharie) trapped in Purgatory, and Katrina (Katia Winter) kidnapped kwa the headless horseman, executive producer Mark Goffman had a lot to answer for when we called him up after viewing the heart-stopping episode. Luckily Goffman, who penned the extraordinary sekunde saa with fellow EP Alex Kurtzman, was zaidi than happy to break it all down for us — and give us some early scoop on season 2!

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: I have to start with the Henry Parrish/Jeremy twist. How long was this the plan and how long did John [Noble] know this was the plan?
We knew from the beginning. We had told John Noble about it, and I actually gave him the bible for the season when we first brought him on. So it’s been something he’s been sort of building into his performance...

So I'm sure I'm not the only one that was left frustrated and mind-blown at the end of the most hivi karibuni episode.

A couple of things keep swirling through my mind, though.

1) The women of the coven. The Four who speak as One au whatever. They alisema Katrina broke their law, but I don't understand how. Ichabod is the First Witness. Isn't he supposed to be around to fight all the demons and stuff? The way it always seemed was that this was how it was meant to work out. But the four women were saying otherwise, basically saying that Katrina should have let Ichabod die. Which I don't understand because that would have doomed humanity and if her coven was supposed to be the good coven, wouldn't that be counterproductive..?

2) Those stupid women also put down Jeremy, Ichabod and Katrina's son. But they alisema they put a hex on him to stop his heart. Hexes can be broken, can't they? So if the hex was to stop his heart, maybe Jeremy's body is frozen in time like Ichabod's was. And maybe they could break the hex and bring Jeremy back.

Just a few bila mpangilio things I've noticed in the onyesha as well as some opinions on certain things.. :)

1) Am I the only one that noticed that the Captain shares the last name of the man who wrote the original short story of Sleepy Hollow? Captain Irving and the original mwandishi was Washington Irving. Eh, eh?? I wonder if this is any kind of foreshadowing for the Captain's role in the onyesha later on. I have gotten the feeling that he might know zaidi than he has led us to believe and I want to know which side he's really on. Then again, this may just be a mere coincidence and maybe he is just a regular guy caught up in this Supernatural mess.

2) JENNY AND THE CAPTAIN HAVE BEEN SHIPPED. Does Captain have a wife? Oh well. Their bickering in the newest episode sealed the deal for me.♥

3) Am I the only one that wanted to ngumi, punch Abraham? I mean seriously, Ichabod didn't have to woo Katrina for her to fall in upendo with him. In fact, seeing Katrina's personality, it's likely that's exactly how she fell for him. Though the time's were different then, but still. Except Ichabod could have used a slap over the head, too. That was the worst...

What’s the secret to Sleepy Hollow‘s success? It’s easy to point to any number of factors — breakneck pacing, sharp writing, a Supernatural premise that takes itself just seriously enough. Ask a Sleepyhead to answer that question, though, and chances are they’ll respond with just two words: Tom Mison, a.k.a. the English stage actor who stars as moody, arch, utterly captivating man out of time Ichabod Crane.

Nobody’s zaidi surprised kwa how well the onyesha has hit than Mison himself. “We’re [shooting] in some dark corner of deepest North Carolina — [so] we’re kind of in a bit of a bubble,” he tells EW. “We weren’t aware of how many billboards there were all over New York, for example, au how much it was promoted on telly.” Now, though, the word is out — and the humble Brit is having a blast both filming the onyesha and keeping up with the fervent fanbase it’s already produced. “They’re very clever people watching,” he says, “which is a dream. It’s so nice to be part of something that inspires people.”

10 Reasons Why I’m Watching SLEEPY HOLLOW

Tom-Mison-SH

1- Tom Mison. I need not say more.
2- I like the chemistry between Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie. It’s fun watching Ichabod and Abbie work together.
3- Watching Ichabod learn all about the 21st century is very entertaining.
4- It’s fun to see the many layers of the onyesha being peeled away with each episode.
5- There’s a great mystery surrounding Katrina.
6- wewe really don’t know who wewe can trust in Sleepy Hollow.
7- The twist on who the Headless Horseman really is grabbed my attention from the beginning. In the original legend, he was just a bila mpangilio soldier in the Revolutionary War who’s head was blown off kwa a stray kanuni, cannon ball.
8- It’s interesting how the onyesha will bring into play various other Supernatural beings connected with the foretold ride of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
9- Sleepy Hollow has all the elements that for me, had me hooked on other shows of its kind, like “Supernatural” and “Grimm“. Suspense, thrills, mystery and humor.
