Why Clark's upendo for Lana is unrealistic?

Clark have always loved Lana since he was a kid, but he never really knew her he loved from a far, and loving someone from a far is nor the same when wewe get to know them because loving somebody from miles way and just watching their finer moment is not really knowing them, wewe might upendo their smile au their politeness but wewe don't really know what they are thinking au see their real colors.

And Clark loved Lana from miles for years, without really knowing her au even having an actual conversation with her, he loved her because she was the girl inayofuata door the good girl who always those the right thing, however when we start looking into Lana's life we see that she doesn't want to be this good girl who does everything she's told, she wants to take things to her own hands and experience life. Clark didn't notice it at time but Lana wasn't sure who she was at that moment (like every teenage girl au boy are at that age) he himself didn't know who, what he was, still he loved her and that because he idealist the idea of Lana zaidi than her Lana herself he only saw what he wanted to see, this sweet girl that could never hurt anyone au be rude to anybody but still strong, while idealizing Lana he over looked over Chloe who smart, funny, strong wielded, and knows herself and who she wants to become in the future.
Throughout the seasons we got to see other sides of Lana that Clark over looked because of his perfect picture of her, but Lana herself alisema that Clark idealizes her and doesn't see her, ok she the good girl and all but she never really trusted anyone she always had doubts about herself, she did have her bad moments. After she got back from Paris she defiantly was different she kept secrets, she changed she wasn't the town girl who would still go and visit her parents grave au ride the horse to pass time she was the sad little girl who need someone to save her, yet again Clark didn't see that and still thought of her as the girl inayofuata door.

In season 5 & 6 we start to see her dark side, she used drugs and threatens people with a straight face, she kept secrets, lied, and did things that the old Lana (that Clark loved) would never do, she hooked up with Lex his best friend and didn't even as much blink. She faked her own death. She hurt time after time with (Jason & Lex).

Season 7 she was the kind of person that can hurt people and even try to kill without even blink of an eye, lied, and kept things from Clark, Clark still loved her but who did he really upendo because the Lana in s7 is far from the same Lana in s1 not even close. This is the most unrealistic and what really pisses me of the most because WHY the hell was he still with her yet??, she was not the Lana that he fell in upendo with as a young kid. It's unrealistic to upendo someone who completely changed and became a whole other person.

In conclusion the Smallville writers are amazing with the character's development and big story lines and villains, other damnations, and even other couples on the onyesha but when it comes to clana they made the biggest mistake of making them last that long, because of all the weirdness and craziness on the onyesha with aliens the most unrealistic and unbelievable is Clark's upendo for Lana, don’t wewe agree?

my point is that it really bothers me that they have wastde 7 years on the clark sick upendo lana, it kinda reuined clois because in the begining it was really onesided and i just really hate that

Katiegirl I think Clark had a more realistic love with Lois too. She was able to know his secret without having to lie to her and be in a relationship with her that was in circulation for years before the truth could be told. Both Lana and Clark were still trying to figure out who they were. Clark was trying to hide from his destiny when he was in love for the first time. Lana she wanted nothing more than the truth in everything and she also wanted to be a hero in her own way, which she got to be- when she put on the Prometheus suit. I would not question their love but I can see that it was an experience that could only be apart of Clark's life and destiny to some regard. Seasons 1-3 clark and Lana take a lot of time getting to know each other. I would not say that was unrealistic but they certainly took much time making up their minds. One thing is for sure, Lana had to leave Smallville before Clark would ever be able to be with anyone else, including Lois Lane. I do believe that Lana and Clark's relationship was more emotionally driven and passionate, right up to its official end( I felt more emotion from them) Maybe that alone is what makes Lois and Clark's overall relationship more realistic.

SiriousDude I honestly hated Lois and Erica Durance the whole series,the acters was disturbing and Lois appears to be lame and definetvly not the pure heart girl they want convince us she is,people likes her just cause they see the superman girl,but looking at her like a person,a human being we could actually realize she is in the end a bad person and many times she kinda show that like how she has no moral,she basically get her job sleeping with Julian Luthor,she steals from clark from chloe from crime scene just to have scoops,she dresses provocative and acts like a whore the way she looks at guys bite his lips...the kind of girl u sleep with one night and then goodbye ,but none WANTS to see that cause that would crush their mith and usually everyone hates Lana just because she is not the canonic girl of CK world and people wanted her to leave earlier so there could be Clois, but being objective is clear that in smallville Lana is the only real "one" and they both feel this way,their love like u made notice resisted everything,and all the time they break up they then get back stronger and more mature than before... plus there is an amazing feeling and chemestry between Kristen and Tom,but we cant say the same with Erica.I find annoying that fanatic people like u just dont want to admit it cause they cant stand a superman story when Clark Kent soul mate is not Lois Lane and complained the whole show while waiting for lois,instead of enjoying it,I.n SV universe Lois is just a second choice,plus i think lois is a slutty,selfish bitch.She does not deserve Clark,always treated him bad(and if someone is gonna take out the "lana doesnt respect clark, treat him bad as well or plays mind game",imma remember u right now that if this happens is because clark totally break her heart and pushes her away,so she did it cause she felt betrayed and she hide her love behind hate and lex kinda helped her in that,with lois he gets bad treatment and belittles without having never done anything bad to her,but due real unrespect for the simple farmboy),and never really had faith in him,she was ready to leave him for her career,and decided to stay just after she founds he's the Blur,cause she never fall in love with CK as the man but as the superpowered hero,prooving how shallow she is.Lana leaving the show was what made the 2 last season shit,all cause writers were afraid or couldnt change the classic superman story.SV Lois is a baby in a grown up body and she can not even be compared with Lana,in terms of beauty and as a person,Lana was ready to sacrifice everything for Clark,she did sacrifice her wellness marrying Lex to protect him,she was brave,unselfish and smart and way too beatiful ,Lois was arrogant,bossy, bithcy and kind of a slut,she wasnt ready to sacrifice a job offer for Clark,and before knowing his secret she many time acted behind his back for selfish reasons or simply cause she didnt trusted him,but SUDDENLY started to do when she discover he's the blur,and u can see how extremly conceited she is when she ask Chloe "She couldnt make the sacrifice he needed,right?" about why Clana didnt work,Lana instead no matter their problem or who they were dating,has trusted Clark Kent since she knew it even if he was a simple farmboy,she trusted and fall in love with the person and not the superhero and there is a little but substantial difference...when Lois find out clarks secret she basically realized he was special and she shouldnt let him go and started to really trust him kinda changing the way she saw him,Lana on the other side always knew clark was the one and was somehow special,and when she discovers his secret the only thing changed was that she understood the reasons of clark behaviour, that clark didnt lied to her or left her cause he didnt love her but cause he DID.People wake up and take off ur blinders,in the smallvile universe Lois Lane will never truly replace Lana Lang,is a consolation prize and that relationship and feeling just came out of nowhere for convenience,but the way they wrote Clana story will just make impossible for people to belive that Clois is the real and true love.Open ur mind,stories can be changed and u dont have to belive a fake love just cause thats how it should be,u can belive in the real love of the story, and the fact that the writers were too afraid to change the mith of Lois and Clark,doesnt mean people cant accept the truth,that the Big love of the story is between Clark and Lana and how their relationship grew with time started as friendship, then became love and how they've been through so many obstacles and there was always something between em but still they always end up together,stronger couple and more deeply in love than before.U talkin like this cause ur more and likely a fanatic and u watched the show waiting for lois to fall in love with clark,without noticing how fake in the end that love was and now u complain that lana should have gone before cause u are disappointed how the show ended kinda too fast on the Clois thing...Pathetic
