Chapter two
*beep* went the intercom button.
“What is it?” The commander asked through his com-link to the Unit in the capsule-room.
“There is a green button here. Do wewe know what it does?” The Unit-girl asked in an accent that sounded Russian now.
“Yes… but wewe should not touch it.”
“*sigh* Very well. Not that it’s any of my business, but why is the… being in this capsule? Shouldn’t it be in a special lock-down.”
“We do not intend on keeping it in there. No zaidi questions.” The commander hung up, and the Unit returned to her watch.
It was after two hours, and the Unit became bored. “Commander.” She greeted. “How long am I meant to guard?”
“The inayofuata guard should come in in three hours.” The commander informed blankly, then hung up.
“… How charming.” The Unit alisema sarcastically. “*Sigh* this is so fun. I wonder what’s in there anyway. Oh well.”
Again the Unit waited. She waited for nearly thirty dakika of boredom. After these nearly thirty minutes, the capsule began to let out a banging sound, which startled her slightly.
The banging started out small, then became larger and larger, until it began to shake slightly. She took this moment to activate the blue button. A blue energy flew into the capsule, and ended the banging.
The Unit gave a large sigh of relief as she laid back in her seat, and stretched her arms a bit. She was quite satisfied with herself for the moment… then she realized that she would be bored again.
“Three hours.” She thought to herself. “Not too long. I could do stuff while I wait.”
“Three hours!” She thought again. “It’s forever! I’m going to die of boredom!”
In a last-ditch effort she tried to fall asleep… she couldn’t. “Note to self.” She muttered. “We can’t sleep… not normally anyway.”
Ten dakika later and she was extremely bored. She looked at the green button. It was so tempting, and she was so bored. “Ah, whatever.” She alisema as she slammed her hand on the plant-colored button.
The capsule unlocked itself, and out fell the red-jaguar. He was completely unconscious, and made a large thud, as he fells face-first onto the floor. The Unit chuckled slightly, then pulled him upward and leaned him up against the wall, before scanning him visually.
“Well aren’t wewe pretty.” She alisema as she noticed his rather handsome face. She shook him a bit in an attempt to wake him up, but it did nothing. Eventually after other options were wasted, she lifted her hood, which completely revealed her face, then quickly kissed him directly on the lips.
The kiss lasted a short four seconds, and did not wake him. “Well that did nothing… pity.” The girl appeared to be a light-pink cat, with long blonde hair, green hearts on the ends of her rather large ears, multiple colors of blue for her eyes, and a rather attractive-looking face.
“… Hate to do this, but” The Unit slapped the red-cat on his face very hard, which caused him to rouse.
“Wha…” He alisema weakly. His ears opened to see the feminine face in front of him, which completely surprised him. He jerked a bit, then tried to stand, but couldn’t.
“What’s going… on?” He asked weakly.
“Well for one wewe appear to be drugged. My bad.” She replied. “As for two…” At that exact moment, the alarm sounded. “You get the picture. Can wewe walk anytime soon?”
The cat attempted to stand up, but fell to the ground instead. “… Too… weak…” He feebly answered.
The female-cat let out a sigh, put her kofia back on, then pulled the male-cat around her shoulder, and began to lead him out of the room. As they exited, guards began to rush towards them; all carrying weapons.
Just as the guards lunged at them, the Unit tossed the cat-guy into the air, just before a small explosion went off around her; leveling the guards. The male cat landed hard on the ground; groaning as he did. “… Couldn’t wewe have caught me?” He asked.
“The guy catches the girl in fairytales, so why break the trend?” The Unit chuckled. She then pulled him back up, and continued to lead him down the hallway.
At the sound of footsteps the cat-girl quickly lunged her and the male-cat onto the ceiling, and held there until the guards passed, then jumped back down, and continued on.
“You got a name kwa any chance, pretty-boy?” She inquired.
“I… I don’t know. Is that really… importa-“
“GET THE GEON PROJECT!” A voice yelled on the hallway-monitor.
“Answers my question.” The Unit chuckled.
They reached a staircase that seemed to be all metal, and go only up. The Unit ran up it at quick speed as guards neared them from behind. As she went up with the cat-guy, she sliced the joints off with her razor-claws. When they got to the juu however, thirty guards were waiting for them.
“FIRE!” One guard yelled. An armada of laser-beams, too many to dodge, shot straight at the two escapees. The Unit quickly fell backwards until she was one floor down, then launched from the opposite wall, into the lower-floor’s hallway… which was followed kwa zaidi running.
Every escape seemed to be blocked at every turn they took. Guards were coming from both sides, and there were much zaidi than before, with guns, and electric-staffs.
“… Oh whatever.” The Unit groaned as she jumped through a side-wall with the cat-guy, going straight off a cliff-side, which the base was apparently on juu of.
As they were falling to their doom…
“Don’t suppose your power is flying.” The Unit hinted.
“… I don’t know. I don’t think I have the strength to at the moment… how did I get drugged?” He asked.
“My fault… sorry. wewe were banging and it creeped me out, so I pushed a button, and wewe got knocked out.”
“Why? wewe broke me out!”
“Yeah, but that was when I knew that there was a person inside… that and I got really bored.”
“So wewe broke me out just because wewe were bored???”
“No. I pretty much planned to just steal au free what was in there eventually. I just wanted to see if I could steal some info from M-Team-2 before I got wewe out.”
“… Steal some-… who ar-“
“Any other powers?” She interrupted.
“… I fell down a tall building without a scratch?”
“… That works.” With that the Unit grabbed tightly onto the Geon, and didn’t let go. This confused and surprised him, but the Unit just alisema “Just land on your feet. Shouldn’t be hard for a cat.”
Thirty sekunde later they would finally land. The Geon attempted to use the same action he did the first time he was able to shield himself… it worked beautifully.
They landed with a giant boom, and kwa boom, I mean atomic. When one object, namely a person, falls from that height, it will usually damage the floor very little, and the person very much. But seeing how they were unharmed at all, the ground below them went into such a shockwave that it flipped upside down, and sunk into a crater-like shape.
The Unit was extremely surprised kwa what had happened. “My Hero.” She smirked as she took her kofia off again. “So I doubt they can find us here, Geon.”
“Is that what I’m going to be called now?” He asked.
“’Fraid so.” She replied. “I think it sounds cool personally.”
“… Yeah. I guess so.”
“So wewe can probably find a city about forty miles that way.” The Unit pointed to the South. “Everyone’s probably going to be after you, but I’m sure you’ll win in the end.” After that the Unit began to walk off, but Geon called out,
“Wait a second!”
“What?” She asked as she turned around.
“Where were we?”
“In a bad place?” When the Unit answered this, Geon seemed very non-amused.
“What happened?” He asked.
“You were captured” She answered again in a vague way.
“Who are you?”
“… a friend.” She answered in a slightly less confident way.
“A Friend who keeps giving me vague answers?”
“Look bro, I don’t know that much zaidi than you. To tell wewe the truth, I’ve actually been around here for about ten days. All I know is that the people who captured wewe are evil-militia types, and that they want to use wewe as some super-soldier.”
“And what do I call you?”
“… *sigh* I don’t have one, alright?”
“One what?”
“A name!”
“Oh… I’m sorry.”
“Eh, don’t be. See ya around pretty-boy.” The Unit then disappeared in a flash of light.
The Red Jaguar now calling himself “Geon” turned to face the desert-canyon-like area around him. In every direction but East there was nothing but flat ground for miles. Would he go to the south as the mystery-girl suggested?
He turned around to the base above. He could only see a small grey dot that he assumed was it. He took a deep breath, then jumped upward; sending himself not only past the base, but almost into space. When he landed, he was in the city that he had been caught in.
He did not see anyone staring at him, which was good. He waited for a moment, then walked off to find answers.
Back at M-Team-2 base…
“Get me Agent-004…”
