Nizove: I just really miss him. He didn't deserve to be murdered... He never did anything wrong! He was just a kind and caring toy maker... And he was a father to me and my brothers and sisters. Kyle: Your blood is gold...?

Kagen: My name is Kagen.

Gardenia: nobody is supposed to know of that.

Kyle: Why not?

Gardenia: just something that happened to me and me only. my brother has red blood but mine is a genetic mutation which is considered dishonored in my family.

Kyle: What? That's mean! You shouldn't be dishonored because of something like that! And... I kind of know how that feels... My blood is black.

Gardenia: really? i`ve never known anyone with black blood

Kyle: Yeah. Here, I can show you. *Pricks his finger with a small needle* *Thick black blood starts running from his finger* *A small black mist is coming off of the blood* See?

Gardenia: oh! having black blood means you were given a gift, Kyle. gold blood is a sign of misfortune.

Kyle: *His finger is still dripping blood* What? What kind of gift?

Gardenia: unlike what most people think about that color, black is a sign of a great healer. someone who can use light magic very well.

Kyle: *Shocked* Seriously? It's a sign of a great healer? Someone who can use magic? I've never tried to use something like magic before.

Gardenia: i guess its something you might find later in life Kyle. as for me, i don't know what's going to happen to my life.

Kyle: What do you think might happen in your life? And, should I try to see if I could use magic now?

Gardenia: thats only if you want to use it Kyle. i`m not sure of what will happen to me. i`m happy that you'll have a good life.

Kyle: *His ears lay down* *Sighs* I don't want to hear that again... I'm sure that YOU'LL have a great life, too! I'm sure that you'll have a lot better life than I will! I'll make SURE that happens! And, my life isn't that good. I get beat up all the time and my own powers control ME a lot of the time... And, I really don't think that I'll have magic powers. I think the only reason my blood is black is because of my dark energy powers. My powers have a mind of their own and try to control me....

Gardenia: i could take that away, if you want me to. i can hold that much dark power.

Kyle: I want to keep my powers... I still use them. And, I don't have just dark energy powers. I have a balance of light energy AND dark energy inside me... So i have no idea if that gold blood-black blood thing would apply to me at all... Would it still apply to me?

Gardenia: even i`m not sure anymore. my family had black blood... until my brother and i were born.

Kyle: Like I said, my blood is only black because of the powers I was born with, I think. But, my blood turns gold like yours whenever I use my light energy powers....
