City of Rome
It was the middle of the night. Buffy was walking down the street, talking to someone in a really tiny microphone. There was a small earphone in her ear, so each time she’d say something pedestrians who passed kwa would give her strange looks, because it seemed as if she was talking to herself.
“Yes, Willow, I’m taking care of myself” Buffy reassured her ginger friend on the other side of the line. “I’m actually sitting in restaurant Chinappi as we speak” she added, before taking a bite of her sandwich
“I hear cars, Buffy” Willow replied a little offended. Did Buffy really think Willow would fall for that? “It’s late, wewe should be in bed. wewe should go talk to your boss so he can get wewe zaidi time off” she added in a pitiful voice. “And…and wewe shouldn’t be out at night. It’s dangerous”
“I think you’re forgetting that small detail about me” Buffy replied sarcastically. “You know, the one that says ‘slayer’”
She walked around the corner and bumped into something corporeal.
“Watch were you’re going” a male and British voice said.
“Will, can I call wewe back?” Buffy asked, keeping her eyes on the man. Not waiting for Willow’s answer, she hung up. “What are wewe doing here?”
Spike raised his eyebrows. “What, is this your town then? Didn’t see a name on it” he scoffed and he walked away.
“Of all the places wewe could’ve picked, wewe had to choose this one. Why?” Buffy called him back. Spike turned around and smiled. “Why not?” he asked, pulling his shoulders.
“I’m still the Slayer, wewe know” Buffy tried to intimidate him.
“Oh, dear, here we go again” Spike mumbled and he lit a cigarette.
“I can kill wewe if I want to” Buffy threatened, though she knew there was no point; she didn’t have a stake.
“But wewe won’t” Spike replied cheerful, which made Buffy really frustrated. She lifted her hand and showed it to Spike.
“Do wewe see that? That’s an engagement ring. That’s right, I’m getting married. I’m finally having some kind of life here and if wewe do anything to mess it up again I will kill you. Then I’ll resurrect wewe and kill wewe again. Got it?”
When Spike’s smile grew bigger she frowned frustrated. “What?”
“You’re sexy when you’re so angry” Spike smirked. “Totally turns me on”
Losing the last bit of self-restraint Buffy slapped him. Even though Spike was used to violence he was still somewhat shocked. However, Buffy did not give him the chance to vocalize his complaints. “You want to live here? Fine. But inayofuata time we meet, I promise wewe I won’t be unarmed” That being alisema she walked away.
Spike touched his cheek and nodded confident.
“She wants me”
