This is just a random thought that came into my head after watching the episode and wanted to get it off my chest. At the beginning of the episode Kirk's told that his ship is going to be commanded by a computer and he doesn't look too happy about it - don't blame him for that - but what puzzles me is that the captain of the other ship informing him of it is relishing in this idea. I mean, he obviously doesn't like Kirk, but if this computer worked wouldn't that mean that he would be out of a job as well?
