it all started with a dream I was running thought a forest filled with bat infested trees when he stopped me with long slick pearling white fangs that gleam in the night and dazzling green eyes that feel like they are piercing your skin with a cold metal blade long jet black hair gelled back hair just right he’s name was well I don’t know got woke up kwa a angry mom who came in my room yelling at me because I was not already awake for school so I jump up as I look in my mirror with the image of him still in my head I looked like your normal teenage girl I guess long black hair dark blue eyes I slipped on my black v neck tee shati and I started to feel a tingling thought my body I am not sure if it is because I’m still half asleep no it couldn’t be I see a shadow’s figure run thought my room ok so now I am seeing stuff au am I ? I run to my bus stop when I get there i see a smiling Trevor awaits “hey Katie" "hey Trevor so why so simile" "you know the big Halloween dance right" "yea heard of it" "so I asked Lisa and she alisema yes " well I happy for wewe I tease see he has had this big crush on Lisa g forever I’ve tried for 3 years to get him to talk to her but he wont so as we bored on the bus i sit with Trevor as usual and well what do wewe know here comes john he hates Trevor for winning the "most likely to be a football pro " contest so naturally he starts in on us I ignore him drowning him out with my iPod headphones deep into my ears and press play I still can’t shake the felling thought like "dream boy" is right there with me sitting ,watching, waiting, I wonder if he is as intregged kwa me as I am him I don’t know if it was the sweaty tires au Trevor that had woke me up I trying to sleep i say angrily “what” him looking terrified alisema “we are here” as everyone else bores off I grab my bag and walk out here it is good old high school I envy having to come here but I do it I run to English mrs.greene is waiting I have something for wewe she says in a low growling voice it was a cream colored envelope she alisema give this to your mother I slipped it in my bag now have a kiti, kiti cha I always sit kwa the back window it was raining I Haden noticed it until now mrs.greene was talking about the difference between the highs and the lows of poetry I really don’t like kusoma it isn’t my best subject the rest of the siku flew kwa math science and social studies it seem like forever when I got nyumbani all I wanted to do was put my head down on the mto and just sleep but know my plan got dumped when I got nyumbani there awaits a jittery jumping mom and she tells me we are going to go to chajio, chakula cha jioni with the turners my mom try’s to get me zaidi understandable Marafiki I say she is crazy so what if my Marafiki like all black and have at least 3 piercings’ I knew foreshore they were normal but anyways we hop in my moms suv it a midnight blue color with one dent in the left side from when my brother tryed to learn how to skate bad idea the seats were gray with cigarette burns all over the seats we pull up to zee’s an Italian restaurant there awaits the turners there mom Sunday their daughter Lisa and their son matt “nice to meet you” mat says in a low voice to me “back at ya” I say trying to calm the sarcasm in my voice when I say it but yes not everything is going bad I see my Marafiki sitting in a booth right across from mine I wave to them inviting matt to sit with us so I’m guessing I should tell wewe there names there’s Kris: I’ve had a crush on him since the first siku I meet him Johnny: the mtulivu, clam and quiet one and last but not least Elijah: a outgoing loving kind guy I sit down and order and there’s that feeling again like someone is staring right at me au is it thought me I don’t know it’s still raining when we run to the car me and my friend exchange goodbyes and hugs I shake each and every one of the turners hands and run to my car in there i wait for my parents to come and start up the engine when we get nyumbani I go right to my bedroom get on my kitanda and out I go I had the same dream only we weren’t in the woods we were in a black hall way I was at one end and he the other I ran over to him I with everything shaking ask him “what is your name?” he says my name is.... wake up wewe have homework my mother yells I still mesmerized kwa his voice think he spoke to me his voice was low calm soft and tender and I loved it and I still didn’t get his name but none the less it was Friday and after I finished my homework I was going over to Kris’s house to watch a movie so I finish it up n head out he didn’t live far I walked it was still kind of cold so I flipped my hoodie on and started it was about half way there I realized there was a lingering presence but the whole time I blew it off like it was nothing but it grew stronger as time passed the autumn leaf’s dances around my feet softly landing on the slick black roads I was at Kris’s front door when I knocked him taking forever to get to the door I flipped open my phone I received a text message from an unknown number it reads this is me find me help me when Kris gets to the door I’m both shocked and intrigued how did this person get my number I was tempted to text them back but I closed my phone and stepped in I was shocked to see that Johnny and Elijah were not “where’s Johnny and Elijah?” Kris turns his head to me and smiles “ I thought it could just be me and wewe tonight” a little smile rises across my face “oh ok so what movie are we watching?” he grabs a DVD case and fling’s it at me terror: an evil upendo story I turn to him and say “you know I’ve heard of this but I thought it would be cheesy so I skipped it” he laughs “it’s ok if wewe get scared I’m here” and winks “oh so very comforting” I say throwing a mto at his head he pop’s it in the DVD player and hits play it starts of slow with a girl in a car going down the road imba and enjoying life and then BAM! The killer pops out of the back kiti, kiti cha and stabs her in the moyo I will admit I jumped a little making Kris laugh a little see my relationship with Kris started as Marafiki and noting zaidi but we have been Marafiki for awhile now and he has no idea I like him but tonight was different i had been on edge about everything scared and confused but with him i felt safe

"Sure! This time I'll trow in a maembe, embe smoothie free." replied Jackson. "Thank wewe so much!" I alisema happily. Mangoes were my inayopendelewa fruit. "Hey Rosie do wewe have any plans for tonight?" asked Jackson. "Yes. I am going to chajio, chakula cha jioni with Carson. Why?" I said.
