It was called Hayao Miyazaki Gets NHK TV Special on His New CG Short - Interest - anime News Network
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
on November 13 in a special about his upcoming full CG animation short,
). The special will include the first exclusive interview with Miyazaki in two years and will focus on his struggle to master CG animation for the first time in his career.
Despite his earlier retirement announcements, Miyazaki confirmed that he will continue animating shorts for the
Museum in Tokyo. The 10 minute short won\'t be completed for about another year and will be screened exclusively at Ghibli Museum. Miyazaki planned the story for almost 20 years and describes the short as "a story of a tiny, hairy caterpillar, so tiny that it may be easily squished between your fingers."
This Week in Games - Dragon Quest Builders
Dustin digs in to the Minecraft-flavored crafting action of Dragon Quest Builders - and discovers it\'s got a whole lot to like! PLUS: Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, Bloodstained and much more! ― Yakuza 5 is long. In fact, Yakuza 5 is too long. I\'m closing in on the 60 hour mark, and I\'m not sure there\'s really enough here to justify all that time spent. Granted, it\'s partly my fault, since I keep engag...

Theron Martin breaks it down. ― Spoiler Alert: This review will discuss the end of the series in detail. Though it started strong, Plastic Memories was prone to bouts of frustratingly uneven content even from the beginning. These tone problems have not ...

This manga may not be equivalent to actually playing Persona 4, but it\'s also hardly a shadow of its former self. Gabriella Ekens dives into this adaptation of the hit JRPG. ― The original Persona 4 manga – published the year of the game\'s 2008 release – finally made it stateside early this year. As an abbreviated version of the game\'s storyline, this adaptation tries to condense the enormous JRPG in...
The truth about Nagisa\'s family life is revealed, leading us to question whether or not he\'ll really be able to kill Koro-sensei when the time comes in this unusually dark volume of the series. ― How people think of themselves doesn\'t always reflect what we see on the outside. That\'s been shown over and over again in Yusei Matsui\'s Assassination Classroom, as the rest of the school consistently under...
Answerman - What Happened To World Masterpiece Theater And Shows Like It?
Whatever happened to classic animated specials for larger audiences like Dog of Flanders, Heidi, and Peter Pan? ― Vinicius asks: I\'m a big fan of the World Masterpiece Theater, a collection of anime series by Nippon Animation that adapted a classic book every year from 1974 to 1997 and then from 2007 to 2009. These series focused mainly on realistic situations: the characters were shown doing earthl...
Paul tackles a frantic world of friendly ghosts in Re-Kan! Plus, all this week\'s new releases! ― There are still a handful of premieres left to cover in the Preview Guide as I write this, and I\'ve already added twelve of the shows I\'ve written about to my personal list of things to watch. That\'s far too many for any mere mortal to keep up with over a full season, so I guess I\'m going to have to get ...
