Let me start off kwa saying I would upendo Dean to be happy. I do not, kwa any means, want him to be miserable, distressed au blatantly depressed. With that said, I will proceed under the impression that it is understood that I am not heartless.
First of all I have always loved Supernatural for the incredible and untouchable brotherly love. And I will digress for a moment to say: When I say 'love' I mean nothing zaidi than strictly platonic/family love. It is undeniable that Dean loves Sam zaidi than most people upendo anything. I mean, he went to Hell for the kid. Dean practically raised Sam and is both a big brother and a father. Anyway, my main point is:
Dean's family is and always will be Sam and his life will always revolve around hunting
Lisa and Ben
Let me explain that I do not hate the characters of Lisa and Ben. They were fine characters. Great actors, developed decently, contributed well to the plot in "The Kids are Alright" and I enjoyable to see on screen. So in conclusion, those two characters I have no problem with.
What I do have a problem with is the idea being spread that Lisa is a perfect match for Dean and he could have a happy family with her. I had many impressions while watching the last few dakika of "Swan Song." The most predominate feeling I got was Dean is simply fulfilling the promise he made to Sam.
Personally, I do not believe there is anything deeper between these two than physical attraction and Dean trying to form a reason to live. The only other time she was brought up in season 3 was 'Dream a Little Dream of Me' as, what I had believed, was a bit of a joke considering Sam dreamed filthy things about Bela while Dean dreamed about family life (sort of reversing the roles.) After that episode she was never mentioned until "99 Problems" where she was randomly placed into the plot, obviously setting things up for "Swan Song."
Now, to finally get to the real point of this article.
Lisa and Ben could never make up for Sam. I don't care how many years Dean could spend with them, they will never mean as much to Dean as Sam did. I feel like, not to be rude, but it's almost like saying, 'you're child is dead so fill the gaping hole with a new pet dog.' (not comparing the them to an animal for degrading purposes)
I know many people want to believe they could live happily ever after, Dean deserves a 'normal apple pie' life after everything, and this is the perfect family for him to fit into but with Sam dead I don't think Dean could ever live near ‘happily.’ I think Dean could live with Lisa physically, but mentally? Never. As far as he knows Sam is not just dead but in Hell, suffering.
On another note, Lisa could never understand what Dean's going through. She doesn't understand his life and she doesn't know much about him personally. They had sexual relations for a few days, didn't see each other until nine years later, parted after a few hours worth of time together and talked on her doorstep for a couple dakika two years later. They're practically strangers.
To counter the argument that Dean and Lisa could learn about one another, I repeat, Dean is with her physically but mentally and emotionally he’s just an empty shell who misses Sam and will continue to grieve for possibly the rest of his life. After all, in a way, doesn’t he feel like he let Sam down because in the end he wasn’t able to protect his little brother from death. Dean always alisema protecting Sam was his job and practically who he was. A person losing their reason to live is good cause to wreck him au her for the rest of his au her life. So, anyway, in relation to my counter argument, it’s hard to learn about each other and build a life with someone if a person is only there in physical form.
I really think Dean's life is too far gone to go back and have a traditional family structure. Hunting and Sam have been Dean’s life and no matter how bad au strained things got those two things have always been true. He can’t throw away everything he had to start a normal life with Lisa and Ben.
I hope Dean’s does not remain with Lisa and Ben in season 6; living contently; moving on from hunting and Sam. If Lisa and Ben become an active part of season 6 the onyesha will lose one of its most important aspects which is the relationship between two brothers.
Overall, my points are:
Dean and Lisa do not have upendo since they did not spend enough time together to develop it.
Dean went to her to fulfill Sam's dying wish/Dean’s promise and probably to prevent himself from searching for a way to save Sam.
Hunting has been Dean's life for so long he can't just give it up.
The onyesha has been entirely about the strength of brotherly upendo and how it prevails against everything (including the Devil).
Normality always provides the characters of Supernatural with negative outcome.

The onyesha is about Sam and Dean. May I quote “Changing Channels” for a moment:
