As if Taylor mwepesi, teleka wasn’t already one of our faves, she has aliyopewa us yet another reason to upendo her! Here’s the story: A shabiki of Tay’s named Kevin McGuire, who has been fighting a long battle leukemia, was worried he would not be able to find a tarehe to prom! But his older sister, Tori, came to the rescue, asking him, “What if I got Taylor mwepesi, teleka to go to the prom with you?” According to his sister, Kevin’s eyes lit up after hearing this and immediately she set out to give him a chance at a prom tarehe with Taylor!

So Tori set up a Facebook Event called “Taylor mwepesi, teleka Take Kevin McGuire to Prom!” Now that event has over 90,000 followers (and the number is still growing)! And Taylor definitely noticed.

On her Facebook, Taylor wrote a message directly to Kevin. “Kevin, I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up.. Would wewe be my date? Love, Taylor.”

We can’t believe how sweet Taylor is for inviting Kevin to be her tarehe at the American Country muziki Awards! She is so kind and giving and we hope Kevin accepts the offer and gets to spend an awesome night with one of our inayopendelewa singer/songwriters!
