Unforgivable
Wait… WHO?
Gwen's POV
"Oh my God..." I whispered to myself while I lead my 13 year-old daughter, Mai, to the Inn Heather Belleza, a hotel owned kwa my former enemies, Alejandro and Heather. I used to compete in a TV onyesha called Total Drama Island, Action, and World Tour. Of course, Mai isn't allowed to watch the show. I really don’t want her to know that I dated Duncan Rivers, the lead singer in her inayopendelewa band, Unforgivable. I think that title is about me. Oh and Inn Heather Belleza is Spanish for Heathers Beauty Inn. It's like hotel with a built-in spa. I walked in and called, "Alejandro! I need your help." He ran out from behind the counter in his usual black silk suit. "Gwendolyn!" He said, purposely trying to annoy me. "Mai, this is Al." I alisema putting emphasis on "Al". Hello, Alejandro." Mai said, missing my point completely. Heather then walked out from the room marked "Employees Only". "Oh hello, Gwen. This must be Mai." Mai nodded. I told Heather to onyesha Mai to her room, and I talked with Alejandro. "Alright Gwen. What happened? Steven isn’t here." I wished he didn't mention my now ex-husband, Steven...
.:::Flashback:::.
"Gwen listen to me!" Steven shouted. "No! That was the last straw!” I stormed out of the living room to my bedroom. I grabbed my clothes rack, my stuff, and Mai's stuff, and led her out of the house. Mai had been staring at me like I was crazy, but I kept going. "Mom, what just happened?" I thought for a minute, and then said, "I just divorced your father...
.:::End Flashback:::.
"And that’s what happened." I finished telling Al. kwa this time Mai was probably watching TV up in our room. "I have to go check on Mai." I walked up to my room, witch Mai and I were getting for free, courtesy of Al and Heather. When I walked into the room she was watching an "Unforgivable" concert. She was imba along to our inayopendelewa song:
She grabbed my hand,
aliiba my heart,
And managed to kill my soul.
Again, about me probably. Anyway, I sat on the edge of the kitanda and looked at Duncan on stage. Same teal eyes, same jet-black hair. Same... wristband. I gave that to him in, like, 8th grade. I cant believe he still has it. Ring!! Ring!! I walked over to answer the phone. "Umm Gwen? wewe might want to get down here. With Mai." I took Mai downstairs, to see… Duncan’s band. “Oh my GOD!” Mai practically yelled. “You’re, wewe know, you!” I rolled my eyes and smiled at Duncan like She-has-no-clue-about-us He nodded as if he got the message. “So who are you?” He asked, looking down at Mai. The only girl in his band, whom I knew was Flannery, gave Duncan a weird look. I assumed he didn’t pay much attention to fans. Flannery has pink hair with maroon lowlights and a T-shirt that alisema “I am Unforgivable.” Then Mai began to run her mouth. “I’m 13, and my name is Mai. M-A-I. This is my mom Gwen.” Duncan held out his hand and I shook it. He smiled and I smiled back. “Duncan! Stop hitting on Gwen and let’s go!” Flannery yelled. I thought they must be good friends, for her to be able to recognize his “Flirt smile”. Mai was awfully calm, considering this was her inayopendelewa band. “Mai, how would wewe like a one of a kind poster?” Flannery asked, if for no other reason than to get her out of the way. “Oh I would upendo that!” She turned to Duncan. “Will wewe sign it?” Duncan nodded and signed his scratchy signature, and put a skull underneath. Same old Duncan…
