Chadwick Boseman Confirms \'Black Panther\' Will Be \'Grittier\' Than Other Marvel Movies

Chadwick Boseman, who plays the role of Black Panther/T’Challa in the highly anticipated Marvel movie of the same name, is opening up about the new film.

The 39-year-old actor told CBR that the film will be different from other Marvel movies you may have seen.

“It’s funny, because on one hand, the Marvel movies that I’ve liked the most are the ones that are funny. I love Ant-Man. But for me, most of the time the darker superhero movies are the ones that I gravitate towards, that I love the most. So I’m glad that I’m not in an Ant-Man. I’m glad that the tone of [Black Panther] may be a little grittier. I just wanted to establish that from the beginning, that that’s what we were doing. That that’s what I intend to do. I feel like we’ll end up in a place that I’ve always wanted to be when I look at superhero movies. Those are the ones I like the most. It’s exciting to do that,” Chadwick said.

he does say it will, he says it ‘may’. and lets face it, the next movie after that will be described the same way by the star. throwing Ant-Man a littl eunder the bus isn’t gonna earn him a lot of love either.

You certainly are no one. A lot of comic fans are excited for this movie and loved the way he played the character in the last Marvel movie. Excited to see the film.

Can’t wait for this movie, brillant actors and a good director! I hope it gets a cool soundtrack like Guardians of the Galaxy, I can definitely imagine Jay Z being the executive producer like he did on The Great Gatsby.
