I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Big Bang Theory recap: Season 11, Episode 22 | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Scott Halberstadt, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Frank Pacheco
Sheldon and Amy are only weeks away from their big day. One is stressing about what to wear and the other is trying to raise half a billion dollars to settle the contradiction between gravity and quantum mechanics. Can you guess who is the crazy one?
We find Bernadette and Penny day drinking while Amy tries on various wedding dress options. Amy is excited to show so much clavicle, but what I couldn’t help but notice is Mayim Bialik’s figure. She’s been hiding so much under all those layers of wool and polyester. Work it, Amy!
Amy tries on beautiful dress after beautiful dress and then finds the one. She waltzes from the dressing room in front of the full-length mirror wearing the most hideous thing you’ve ever seen in your life. It’s like the Abominable Snowman in a hoop skirt. Every yard of lace and tulle in Pasadena was used to make this gown. It also featured a flouncy cape, long sleeves, and handy gloves.
Bernadette and Penny don’t have the heart to tell Amy that her dress should never see the light of day again. In fact, Bernadette thinks they should put it out of its misery and burn it. Penny challenges her. Shouldn’t they tell Amy the truth? Didn’t she bring them along for their honest opinions?
The girls decide to break the news to Amy together so she’s not embarrassed at her own wedding. Penny admits that she doesn’t like it and Bernadette chickens out and claims it’s perfect before bolting out the door. Amy and Penny puzzle through their differences. “Not liking” is way different from “hate.” Penny wants Amy to celebrate that she’s her own person and deserves her own dress that she loves. Unfortunately, Amy believes the dress is tainted if her BFF doesn’t like it.
Amy gives the monstrosity one last whirl before returning it to the store. Sheldon walks in and gushes over how gorgeous Amy looks. He loves that it appears she’s draped in a “pile of swans.” Nice. I imagine Sheldon’s approval trumps Penny’s approval. Now the big question: Will Amy wear her tiara?
Speaking of Sheldon, he needs major bucks to create a microscopic black hole. Finally! I’ve been waiting forever for someone to do that.
Amy: My mother wouldn’t approve. There’s too much clavicle. She calls it the bosom’s welcome mat.
Penny: When Sheldon sees you in that dress he’s going to want to methodically take it off, fold it up carefully, place it in a storage box, label it, and then ravage you.
