The Doctor ran into the TARDIS, slammed the door shut and slid down to the floor exhausted. He should never have asked those sontarans who aliiba all their handbags.
‘Well, that was unsuccessful.’ He alisema lifting himself to his feet.
‘Doctor!’ someone was banging on the door. ‘Doctor, let me in!.’ He opened the doors to find River, shooting at a couple of sontarans before coming in, still firing. ‘Well shut the doors!.’ The Doctor did so. ‘Well, that was unsuccessful.’ She put her gun back in her belt.
‘River, what are wewe doing?.’
‘Sontarans, never ask if their on a hen night.’ The Doctor shook his head. ‘What?.’
‘River, wewe can’t do things like that.’ He walked past her and went over to the control panel. ‘You’ll end up in big trouble au worse. Your already in jail.’
‘No thanks to you.’ He turned back round to face her. ‘If wewe never re-altered that time line..’
‘There was no other way.’ He was getting frustrated, River could tell. She always knew when something was wrong. He stared at the floor. ‘I’m sorry.’ River went over to him, took his face in her hands and lifted his head so he was looking right at her.
‘You have nothing to be sorry for.’ She smiled. ‘Nothing at all.’ He smiled back at her.
‘Where are we in your timeline?’
‘You always know how to spoil the moment don’t you?.’ The Doctor chuckled. He watched River go into her pocket and take out her diary. Her blue diary. Which was filled with all the adventures she’s had with him and the adventures still to come.
‘Let me see…’ She flicked through the pages trying to find her last entry. ‘Ah! For once we are actually up to speed with each other.’ She closed her diary and put it back in her pocket.
‘Good. That’s good.’
‘I take it that’s… Good.’ They both laughed. The Doctor couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was absolutely amazing.
‘What it is sweetie?’ The Doctor smiled at her as he took her hands in his.
‘You are amazing, wewe know that?’ River smiled back and shook her head.
‘I think your deluded.’ The Doctor chuckled, she never took anything he alisema about her seriously.
‘Oh River…’ He leaned mbele and kissed her. ‘You are my mad, impossible River Song I wouldn’t change wewe one bit.’
