-------------------------------------------------------- We are not blind
We know the truth
The demigods knew the truth, the seven knew they had to save the world. The fate of all other nations depended on their shoulders. The oblivious mortals below them wouldn’t realize doomsday was upon them until too late... Still we don't stand
Still we don't choose
“We have to stick to the plan.” Jason commanded him. Percy snarled at him.
to go back for Annabeth.”
“Percy, we can’t just-”
Percy shoved past him, the decision still not made, nothing done au chosen. We'd rather stay
Stuck in our world under control
“Who says we have to listen to you?” Jason growled at Percy. “You’re not the only leader.”
“We were both chosen kwa Hera. We do this together
.” Percy gave it right back to him. We may not pull the trigger but we,
stand kwa and watch and pretend not to see
Annabeth watched the faint outline of Rome, slowly rising with the reddish machungwa, chungwa glow of fire. The faintest smell of smoke filled the city horizon, and the screams of both people, demigods, and her Marafiki could be heard below her.
Yet she ignored it, and did nothing, paralyzed with her own fear at what she had done. Silence is worse than evil done
“Jason, why did wewe do that?” Piper pleaded with Jason. “We’re your friends.”
“I can’t believe I did that...” Jason whispered. “I didn’t mean to-”
“Then why did wewe attack him?” Piper asked, her anger rising. “You almost killed him, and the rest of us!”
Jason didn’t answer her.
“Fine, don’t tell us.” Leo snapped. “See if we care.” He and Piper stormed off to the other direction, putting as much distance between themselves and the son of Jupiter who had Lost their trust. Jason watched their backs turn away from him, as they refused to talk to them. Silence filled the empty ship. What in the world have we become?
“What have I done?” Leo whispered, horrified. “FRANK! PERCY! HAZEL! PIPER! NO!”
Leo watched helplessly as his Marafiki were consumed kwa flames; armageddon flames he could control, and moto he had created alone... Can't wewe see that...
This is war
So pick your side
“Well, what side are wewe on?” Reyna demanded of him. Jason didn’t meet her eyes. “Are wewe Roman? Are wewe one of them?” She indicated to Piper like she was a contagious disease. It's time to move, not time to hide.
“Puny demigods!” The giant roared, large bluish-white flames echoing out of his mouth. “Come out so I may destroy you!”
“Generous offer,” Percy stood out from behind his pillar. “But I think I’ll kill wewe instead.” Don't let lies make up your mind...
Hazel paced on the large wooden deck. Leo? Frank? Sammy? Which one did she love? Which one was just a figment of her past, only a small white lie blotted out in all of her dark and twisted history... Cause wewe will see,
We're Running Out of Time
“It’s now au never,” Percy’s voice shook, trying to remain collected like a leader. “We fight today for our generations, the generations that made us who we are. We fight for the inayofuata generation, and all generations that will remember our names! FOR GREECE! FOR ROME!”
From inayofuata to him, Jason raised his own sword and Percy took up Riptide.
“WE FIGHT!” The echo rained throughout the crowds of demigods, who all gave their own weapons and battle cries. Tomorrow they'll come,
And one siku we'll see,
“They’re catching up,” Jason warned. Leo pounded his Wii remotes against the controller and cursed. “I’m trying!”
“Look out!” Piper screamed, as an enormous ball of fire, that covered up the sun like a small ink spot and was soaring straight at them like a misguided comet... The choices we make, made history
Percy’s arm was cut and bleeding heavily, and his leg looked like a rabid dog had taken to it, but they were making history. He had taken on the giant alone, while his Marafiki took on the armies below. He jumped down from the fallen rooftop and into the city below him. They were making history, the seven of them- changing the world around them, and trying to make it a better place. For it's too late,
When will wewe stand
“We should direct a phalanx on the right,” Annabeth guided the tiny rock through the sand, leaving a trail that was carved out of the soil. “It’s not too late.”
“We’ll make our last stand here,” Frank pointed to a mduara, duara near the mouth of a scary looking pile of rocks. “That’s where we’ll decide the final outcome of the war. Whether we live au die.”
“That sounds delightful,” Leo said, un-enthusiastically. “I can’t wait to die!” and chose our words while wewe still can,
“Annabeth?” Percy sounded helpless. “Why would you- wewe would-”
“I’m sorry.” Annabeth covered her face. She balanced her legs over the side of the ship. “Goodbye.”
Then she jumped off the edge. Can't wewe see that...
This is war,
So pick your side
“What do wewe mean?” Percy’s voice sounded angry. “I’m doing all I can!”
Jason summoned his spatha. “It’s not enough!”
“Well let me see wewe try, Oh Mighty lord of the sky!”
Jason snarled. “Who’s side are wewe on!”
“The one where we save the world!”
“Is that all this is about?”
“Bring it on, Lightning Lord!” Percy taunted.
“You’re going down, Kelp Brains.” Jason growled and launched himself into battle against his Greek ally. It's time to move, not time to hide
“Move out!” Frank whispered as quietly as he could. Leo snuck along the tunnel in front of him, and Hazel felt along the dark and slowly shrinking tunnel.
At the end was a small light, glowing like a tiny moon. A boy with dark hair, black clothes, and a face Frank recognized was chained up, and he lifted his face to his approaching rescuers... Don't let lies make up your mind
“Mom?” Leo whispered, his hands guiding him through the dark allyway. “Mom? Is that you?”
Cruel laughter echoed through the dark corner. As Leo’s eyes adjusted to the hue, light blinded his vision like someone was shining a flashlight in his face. When he could squint and make out a figure, it was
his mom, but also not his mother.
“Leo Valdez,” The Goddess Nemesis cackled. She was dressed as Leo knew his mother, all those years ago. Her face was his mom’s, but the kindness in her eyes was driven kwa a different kind of anger; one that seeked revenge and gave people what they deserved. “What is it wewe wish of my services?” Cause wewe will see,
We're Running Out of Time
“Go,” Piper said. “Guys, run!”
“Leave me.” Leo coughed as the strange substance filled the room. “I can survive fire.”
Piper winced as her friend plunged deeper inside. “Leo, don’t!”
“There’s not time! I have to get Frank and Hazel!” his voice sounded tinny and far away, like he was at the bottom of a subway tunnel. “Get the others!” Running Out of Time
Percy cursed and dropped Riptide. “I don’t have time for this.”
“On the contrary,” The goddess of the earth rumbled. “We have all the time in the world.” Running Out of Time
Frank’s eyes widened at the approaching figure. She was lean and graceful, with shimmering glinted eyes, and a dress that dazzled through all of his dark dream.
“Hello Frank,” she said. Frank recognized her eyes then, they changed colors as they shifted with her luminant glow of immortality. “My name is Aphrodite. You’ll know me as Venus.” Can't wewe see that...
This is war,
So pick your side
Annabeth’s eyes were darting wildly about, trying to escape this horrible nightmare of reality. She tried to pinch herself, trying to convince herself it wasn’t real. Her arms and legs were caught in a sticky substance, which didn’t allow much movement.
“Daughter of Athena,” the buibui clicked it’s fangs together, and it’s eight legs spindled around the large room, filled with hundreds upon thousands of spiderwebs. “You have been caught in my Spider’s web.” Arachne shifted and became a much larger and zaidi terrifying arachnid. Annabeth shrunk back and let loose a blood curdling scream, like someone was putting her through Chinese water torture. It's time to move, not time to hide
“Romans, songesha out!” Percy’s voice echoed through the field of legions. Reyna’s voice followed, as commanding; obey au face consequence. “In formation! Archers, at my mark!” Archers notched their arrows and got in position. Don't let lies make up your mind
“I can bring them back,” the earth goddess echoed all of their minds. “All of you.”
In front of them, faces of Marafiki and loved ones shown in ghostly light. Frank dropped his arrow as his mother appeared, smiling and floating in front of him. Leo reached out to touch his mother’s hand, but it passed right through.
“Go away! Leave us alone!” Piper’s voice came out panicked, yet clear and crisp. The ghostly picha faded, leaving most of them shellshocked, but no longer under the entrancing spell. Cause wewe will see,
We're Running Out of Time...
