Wow wewe guys must be tired of my articles, but I can't help it, I woke up all focused and I truly believe that this makala will mean something.

So yes, we have royalty among us. Not Amph, another queene. Hint: she's snotty, mean and we've already talked about her a couple of time. Yup, Hera! I know, I know, there's already an makala but this one goes in a completly different direction.

Hera went on what not to wear!

First off, Hera, this is the descriptions of her I could find in the book:

TC, page 287

"Next to him (talking 'bout Zeus) sat a beautiful woman with silver hair braided over one shoulder and a dress that shimmered colors like peacock feathers."

BotL, page 101.

"She was tall and graceful with long hair the color of chocolate, braided in plates with dhahabu ribbons. She wore a simple white dress, but when she moved, the fabric shimmered with colors like oil on water."

P. 102, same book "I didn't remember her looking so normal. [nimportant sentance] But now, Hera looked like a regular mom."

Hold that thought! Okay, Percy and I have many different definitions of many things. But if I saw that (look at the picture) on someone walking down the street, I'm sorry, but that's not normal.

So Hera's changed her looks from silver hair to chokoleti brown (that au RR changed his mind 3 days after the third book was published), but this is... This is big time! It's like when wewe watch those style shows and they onyesha before/after! So... Why?

1. She wanted to onyesha her status of queene of heavens a tad more
2. This theory has been repeated, but Hera's bad(der) side, Juno (her Roman equivalent), is starting to take over.

To back this theory up, I have a wackload of clues that the Romans are coming our way, all gathered up nice and neat in "Ceasar salad". Go check that out if wewe haven't already. And to talk about the taking-over part, chekc out Amph's newest article.

Now on a different note, here is an interview I found from puffinbooks.com, the link was ilitumwa in the thread about the book in the Percy Jackson club.

"Q: wewe have introduced some pretty powerful Roman gods into the mix. What are the differences between them and their Greek counterparts?

A: The gods reflect the culture where they live, so in Rome they tend to be zaidi imperial and warlike. They are not as approachable, not as laid back. Basically, if you’re talking to Jupiter, be on your best behavior au you’ll get the business end of a lightning bolt.

Q: With hundreds of Roman and Greek gods out there, how did wewe chose which to feature in THE Lost HERO?

A: I simply pick the ones I’m most interested in, the ones I haven’t done yet, and the ones that seem to fit the locations I want to explore. Probably my inayopendelewa in this book is Khione, the goddess of snow. I didn’t even know the Greeks had a goddess of snow until I began researching."

*Side note: The rest of the interview is ilitumwa in "Book information", I just copy pasted the part of interest here.

This says 3 things.

1. We will see Khione goddess of snow
2. We will see Roman gods
3. Romans are like the evil twin of the Greeks. They have the same powers but their attitude is different and they spend zaidi time killing innocent half-bloods.

BotL: Hera acts nice because she figures she might be able to pull it off with our new heroes. Her face on the picture, at least to me, does not scream out "Hello, I am nice!" It screams out zaidi "I am big and important".

And if the Romans aren't as laid back, well, chances are wewe don't see Neptune going around in shorts and Hawaienne shirts. Greek robes and armor for everyone! (random note: do wewe realise how foolish they must think the Greek gods are?)

Thus, the dhahabu sparkely dress.

Another thing, while I'm talking about her clothing, scroll down and check out the picture, look in the box I drew on. What is that? It's not shadding, its too precise to be that, it looks like writting. What does it say? "This dress belongs to Hera"? I don't think so.

I looked at it zaidi closely and it looks zaidi like an up-turned tulip. The picture under it, I made it bigger and flipped it. But since when does Hera have a sacred flower?

I didn't know any of this, so I googled it.

I found nothing about either Hera au Juno having a sacred flower, so it is in my frame of mind, just a decoration for now (thought I'm still really unsure about it). It could be reflecting the maua, ua on her staff, au it could be in a myth I don't know. (do wewe know what that maua, ua is? maoni response!)

Staff, crown and bird

The crown is, I think, a diadem. Hera was often shown as wearing a diadem au crown. She wears a diadem like Athena a kofia, chapeo (helmet is cooler). I think that's the one she's wearing in the picture.

The bird, I'm pretty sure, is a cuckoo. Along with the peacock, it's her sacred bird, and when I google-imaged cuckoo, many of the birds shown were grey. But is it just me, au does the bird lack... Life? Most of the pictures of cuckoos showed them with tail feathers standing up and not strait. It's grey, strait and frozen. To me it doesn't look like a real bird, zaidi like stone. Am I the only one? Probably. Ah well, moving on.

STAFF. I have seen 1 picture in a book about mythology of her holding a staff, so I assumed it is to onyesha her status of royalty.

Then I went to www.theiogreekmythology.com

"HERA was the Olympian Queen of the gods and the goddess of women and marriage. She was also a goddess of the sky and starry heavens. She was usually depicted as a beautiful woman wearing a crown and holding a royal, lotus-tipped staff. Sometimes she held a royal lion au had a cuckoo au hawk as her familiar."

Which advances not only with the staff, but also the bird. It could be a hawk. Hawks, one of my inayopendelewa animals, can stand still and stiff, and the eyes... So according to me, it's a hawk. See how much your theoirs can change when wewe write an article?

JUNO

Let's give it up for our Roman sensation!

Half the makala I found gave me a link to another about Juno.

Juno represents Hera's person AND a part of the kickass goddess that is Athena. How someone can mix Hera and Athena, I know not, but Juno is girlpower (so is Minerva, Athena's Roman side). War-like. She wore goatskin a lot, which was not only good for scaring off satyrs, but was the favored garnment of Roman soldiers on campaign.

So if wewe got Juno on your bad side, well, it made Hera seem like just a fly after your pie.

Juno is not only a goddess. It's also a name aliyopewa to theese genie/spirit-like creatures that protect woman. My guess is we'll be seeing those either crowd around Piper au totally kitindamlo her depending on who she is (daughter of Persephone = Hera not happy, Juno not happy) and what she does ("Juno wewe SUCK!")

The Name

First off, have wewe read Amph's makala on Hera? Well wewe go do that and come back. If wewe have, good (didn't wewe upendo it? I know wewe did!)

So what if the reason everyone is panicking is because Hera/Juno is a vital force?

Let me explain: etymology of Juno:

"There is a possible etymology for Juno in the Proto-Indo-European root *yeu-, "vital force", which has such derivatives as the English youth.Although such a derivation could possibly be consistent with an origin as a mother goddess, it is zaidi likely that the root *yeu- is used in the same sense as other Latin words derived from it, such as iuvenis ("young man", with derivatives such as juvenile and rejuvenate), which would imply that Juno's nature prior to the syncretism of Greek and Roman mythology was zaidi akin to Diana's, as a maiden goddess of birth au midwifery. However, the Roman absorption of Greek myth replaced earlier characteristics of Juno with those of Hera, extending her domain from birth to marriage and promoting her to the role of Jupiter's wife and the Queen of the gods. She could also throw lightning bolts like Jupiter.[2]"

Young. What if, when Juno takes control, it'll kill her for some reason, because Hera'll be fighting for the body? And if the goddess that creates YOUTH is destroyed, well screw humanity! Maybe that's why it's such a big thing Hera is having a little power struggle and the rest of the gods aren't that important.

au maybe Juno knows this and doesn't WANT to become the dominant side? She figures she'll be lonely since the other aren't there, Hera's siblings will destroy her, she's hd enough with being in power etc, etc.

But maybe Hera wants to take a few millenias of break, au she's gone into severe depression and is pushing Juno to domminance. Who knows? (special treet; I wont ennumerate all the people that do this once)

What's more, she can throw lightning bolts. So surely she can protect from them? Maybe she protected Jason so he can help her kick Hera back into power.

GAIA

I have read somehwere that Gaia is the one being a pain to Hera. I don't remember where, I don't remember where I found the lnik. If wewe know please say so in the maoni and I will hariri it into this article, but for lack of info, I understand if wewe do not believe this. I'm not 100% sure myself.

But it does have history. Gaia, the "mother earth" of the Greeks, mother of Kronos, Rhea and Marafiki and grandma of the gods always pained her grankiddies. Not in a eat-your-vegetable kind of way (that's mine) but in zaidi severe dethroning ways. Here's what theoigreekmythology.com has to say about it.

In myth Gaia appears as the prime opponent of the heavenly gods. First she rebelled against her husband Ouranos (Sky) who had imprisoned her sons in her womb. Then later, when her son Kronos defied her kwa imprisoning these same sons, she assisted Zeus in his overthrow of the Titan. Finally she came into conflict with Zeus, angered with him for the binding of her Titan-sons in the pit of Tartaros. In her opposition she first produced the tribe of Gigantes and later the monster Typhoeus to dethrone him, but both failed in both attempts.

*May I add that RR has a link to this site on his website as ressources, so he does research on this one

I'm quite disapointed with myself for not thinking of this one. I knew about this, I'd already read that paragraph, I'd considered it for my fanfic and everything! Oh well. But supposedly Gaia (or Gaea) is doing something, leaving Hera with little power.

The good news is: One siku until we find out
The bad news is: One siku until we find out.

One day, 24 hours, I mean, common! It's a form of torture that should be illegal! I was half-hoping the store I ordered it from would screw up and send it a siku early, but no mail will come today because its a national holiday, I will stop boring wewe with my life story now.

Enjoy waiting out for the inayofuata day, enjoy the book, enjoy the plot, and above all, eat your vegetables! (enjoying the book is zaidi important do)

upendo wewe guys all, thanks for keeping me sane (ish) while waiting! I'm looking forwards to all the new members but I'll miss our little group of addicts, where everyone knew everyone's names!

Excuse me while I bake zaidi muffins (our numbers are a siku au 2 away from skyrocketing!)

Hecate

** I've been fantasising about what'd happen if Camp Ceasar-Salad was real. This is what I came up with.

Annabelle: Who the Pluto are you?
Annabeth: I'm Annabeth, the architect of the gods.
Annabelle: Umm, no. No, I'm the architect of the gods.
Annabeth: GREEK gods, GREEK! Wow, I'm glad my mom isn't Minerva.
Annabelle: wewe got a problem with Minerva?
Annabeth: Actually, yes, yes I do. She ripped off Athena.
Annabelle: She made Athena BETTER!
Annabeth (pulls out knife): Oh no wewe didn't!
Percy: Annabeth, calm down, she's not worth it.
Peter: hujambo don't talk about my girlfriend like that bub!
Percy: Bub? Who the Hecate syas "bub"?
Peter: Me!
Percy *facepalm*
Chris: Anybody see Clarisse?
Christopher: What about Clare?
(in the distance): AHHHHH!!!!!!!
Chris and Christopher: Oh Styx.
Annabelle: They're at it again. (the Stolls run mbele with 2 other elfish twins)
Connor: He stoll my whoope cushion!
Colin: Did not!
Travis: Hey, nobody steals from my brother but me! (shoves Colin)
Trevor: Nobody shoves my brother but me! (shoves Travis)
Jason: (while Percy, Peter and the girls break that up, Clarisse and Clare fighting in the background): I'm glad all of my Marafiki get along!

I was looking at all these song fics and thought I might have a shot at making one. Then, 'Keep Holding On' came onto my ipod. I thought about the lyrics and the feelings the charactors of HoO might have when Annabeth came to mind. So... Umm... Here it is.

You're not alone
Sure feels like it...

Together we stand
I'll be by your side
you know I'll take your hand.
I'll always stand kwa wewe Percy.

When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
You mean like when wewe know you've got a missing boyfriend who doesn't remember wewe and you've got to go fight a war eventually?

There's no place to go
Honestly, there...

Rating: Probably YA, just to be safe

Disclaimer: All the characters, except for Selena Forrest, belong to Rick Riordan, the amazing writter of Percy Jackson and the one who inspired us all

A/N: As I have stated before, this is my first fanfic and is probably horrible. I say probably because I do not know which is why I am posting this. If I get alot of good maoni I will continue...

So I was writting a maoni for a pic called "Fixed it!" (link) and I realised that with the little I already knew, I could spread it out into a whole darn article! So I did...

Anyways, here's my point. What the Greeks didn't invent in their time; they made better. What the Romans didn't conquer au destroy, they passed onto us. Some of it died over the years, like their language Latin, but some of it stays with us, even now, in 2011.

 Carmen's voice
Carmen's voice
Hi This is partypony.
There's this song, and my Marafiki keep imba it all day. The song is Fireworks, kwa Katy Perry. Now it's stuck in my head practically all the time. So about a week ago, I made a song fic featuring Fireworks. I didn't really plan to actually publish this here, but I got bored so...

FIREWORKS; kwa KATY PERRY

I'm going to cut the crap and get right to this, we have highly annoying prophecies. I need no zaidi evidence than every piece of uandishi Rick Riordan has ever produced, okay that sounds a bit gross but anyway, our Son of Neptune unfinished prophecies and clues.

'To rescue the legion's crown,
The son of Neptune shall drown,'

Okay, this is just me but I'm guessing the prophecy was unfinished SINCE IT alisema IT IN THE BOOK. Percy rescued the eagle (the legion's crown) and he drowned-er, something, mainly ghosts. Moving on,

'Wisdom's daughter walks alone,
The Mark of Athena burns through Rome,
'

We know...
