no i read it, he said he left because of the way the director treated the cast and crew he said it compromised his integrity. that there was no way he could take direction from a man he held no respect for and who treated others like that so he left for moral reasons. I really wish the director wasn't such a dick I really would have enjoyed a few more seasons with him he was my favorite.
