The Parent Trap is about a pair of twin sisters who have reunited after eleven years and scheme to get their divorced parents back together so they can be a family at last.
Hallie Parker and Annie James (Lindsey Lohan) are complete opposites who upon first meeting despise each other. They have no idea they’re twins because they grew up without each other in their lives. Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid) and Elizabeth James (Natasha Richardson) met and married on an ocean liner called Queen Elizabeth II then divorced with Nick getting custody of Hallie and Elizabeth getting custody of Annie.
In an effort to gain their perfect family, the girls enlist the help of Hallie’s nanny Chessy (Lisa Ann Walter) and Annie’s butler Martin (Simon Kuntz) as well as get rid of Nick’s dhahabu digging fiancée Meredith Blake (Elaine Hendrix) who wants to send them to boarding school in Switzerland. After playing tricks on her, the girls get Nick to realize her true self. “What’s going on?” Nick asks.
“Here’s what’s going on buddy. The siku we get married is the siku I ship those brats off to Switzerland. Get the picture? It’s me au them! Take your pick!” Meredith says.
“Them!” Nick responds.
“Excuse me?”
“T-h-e-m! Them! Get the picture?”
Once Nick gets nyumbani with the girls and Elizabeth greets them, he grounds them. As they spend zaidi time together as a family, Nick falls back in upendo with Elizabeth. After saying goodbye, Nick decides he and Hallie should get them back.
Elizabeth and Annie return to only find Hallie in their grandfather’s study with Nick coming in after Hallie says the cue. “It took us around thirty sekunde after wewe guys left for us to realize we didn’t want to lose wewe two again.”
“We?”
“We!”
Nick and Elizabeth kiss, Annie faints when doing a noise, and Hallie becomes happy. “We actually did it!” The movie ends with Nick and Elizabeth’s sekunde wedding on the Queen Elizabeth II and the girls there as well as the engagement of Martin and Chessy.

The Parent Trap which is Lindsay Lohan's film debut is a 1998 Disney comedy film about two girls who go to the same camp are shocked to discover that they are actually twins!!. So in order for these two girls to get to know their parents one of them goes as the other and the other goes as the other girl. One of them is in London ( the late Natasha Richardon who plays Elizabeth James) ,and the english girl poses as the american girl and goes to California to see her dad ( Dennis Quaid so handsome may I add). The problem is that their dad is marrying someone else ( Elaine Hendrix) ,and the game is on .
I thought that it was a nice film in the 90's and it is also a very heartwarming movie as well because the late Natasha Richardson is in it. I liked this film and it was Lindsay Lohan's best .
Rating: 9/10
Verdict: A sweet family comedy all about twins
