So I've seen a load of kura za maoni asking about favourite Red Rangers, Blue Rangers, Pink, Yellow, male and female Rangers; all that stuff, but funnily I don't see many regarding the sixth Rangers. That may be because I don't look too hard, but still.
For those unaware (and if wewe are, why are wewe on this page?), each Power Ranger series starts with a set number of Rangers, usually five, although on several occasions there have only been three to start off with. At some point later in the season, they will acquire at least one new member of the team. Usually this will be the sixth Ranger, although there have been many series that end with zaidi au less Rangers than the standard six. For that reason, I have chosen to include any Ranger who was not a part of the original team, joining later on in the series.
As an extra note, I have not seen all of Samurai, au any of Super Samurai, Megaforce and Operation Overdrive, so if I have not included their Rangers and wewe are outraged kwa this, take comfort in the knowledge that I have little knowledge of these characters.
6: Jason Lee Scott, dhahabu Ranger: Power Rangers Zeo.
Although he started as the original Red Ranger, he left that role and handed the mantle of Red to Rocky DeSantos, who in turn donned the Blue Ranger uniform in Zeo, as Tommy Oliver took up the position of Red Zeo Ranger. Jason was not present for a good two series worth of episodes, when the dhahabu Ranger (an alien who was uigizaji as the sixth Ranger at the time) had to pass his powers on to another. Tommy then went off to find another worthy of taking on the powers - who turned out to be Jason, returned to once again jiunge the fight against evil.
My reason for choosing Jason as my sixth favourite Sixth Ranger is just the awesomeness of Jason returning to the series. At this point, the only Ranger who was there from the beginning was Billy, who is no longer a Ranger anyway, so to have one of the originals returning to kick arse alongside the newer Rangers is pure gold, if you'll pardon the pun.
5: Trent Fernandez-Mercer, White Dino Ranger: Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
A character introduced as the crush of the Yellow Ranger Kira, Trent accidentally gained the powers of the White Dino Ranger which turned him pure evil. He then spent the inayofuata load of episodes battling the other Rangers, walking through them easily every time. He was eventually turned good kwa a laser blast intended to kill him, and joined the Rangers to make up for all the problems he caused.
Trent was a bit of a harken back to the early days of Power Rangers, which had the first Sixth Ranger go through something of a similar character arc, so it's cool to see them go back to basics. Aside from that, he's quite a good character, conflicted the whole time; first, with his evil side, and later with his father being the main villain and how he should handle fighting his own father. A great character with a hint of nostalgia associated? How does he not make the list?
4. RJ, mbwa mwitu Ranger: Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Originally the mentor of the Jungle Fury Power Rangers, having at least as much development as the main heroes, if not more, he spent much of the early section of the series advising and training the Rangers, occasionally joining in on the battle and kicking even zaidi arse than all three Rangers combined. After being captured and going through some rough times controlling his gone-feral animal spirit, he donned his own morpher and joined his students in the battle against evil.
There have been several mentors who went on to become Power Rangers alongside those they taught, but RJ ranks highest among those who started off as mentors. For one, his outfit is purple. OK, I lie, his outfit is the one thing about the character that bugs me, but that's a problem I have with the Jungle Fury outfits in general, not so much because of the colour. No, what I upendo about RJ is that he is much zaidi easy going than just about any mentor in the series, who tend to be quite strict and uptight, but even among those who aren't RJ is still much zaidi relaxed (the Jack Sparrow-like hand gestures don't hurt that image much either). It's quite refreshing and new, but he also works really well as a mentor figure, teaching the Rangers very well throughout the season. A great mentor figure, great character and, ultimately, a great Ranger.
3. Eric Myers, Quantum Ranger: Power Rangers Time Force.
An acquaintance of Time Force Red Ranger Wes Collins, Eric was a different sort of Sixth Ranger than those who came before and even after, who tend to either be brainwashed good guys who have their minds controlled before it's broken and they jiunge the Rangers; characters who already had their Ranger powers and arrive partway through as ready-made Rangers, au are allies of the Rangers promoted to Rangers. Eric was zaidi of a rival - not a villain, but still fairly aggressive in his treatment of the Rangers. He acquired the Quantum Powers from an archaeological dig that uncovered the morpher that was sent back in time as part of a test run kwa the Time Force police. He raced against the other Rangers to get the powers and won, becoming the leader of the Silver Guardians run kwa Wes' father kwa doing so. He would fight alongside the Rangers as an ally, but outside (and even within) combat he was fairly hostile towards them. kwa the end, though, he became Marafiki with the other Rangers and was seen to call them such in the team up episode with the Wild Force Rangers, Reinforcements from the Future.
I really like Eric (wouldn't have put him on the orodha if I didn't) and he could very easily be switched with my number two choice. His development was great, and the fact that he spends a lot of the series being cold towards the other Rangers makes the moment he and Wes agree to put all differences aside, effectively becoming friends, all that much zaidi satisfying. Also, I kind of like how his uniform seems like a corrupted version of Wes', reflecting the similarities between the two, but Eric's jagged edges possibly symbolising that he doesn't let anybody get close to him, while the black areas where Wes' uniform is white symbolising their opposite upbringing.
au I'm kusoma way too much into this, and it's just a coincidence.

The son of the mentor in Ninja Storm, Cam was the brains behind much of the technology the Rangers utilised throughout the series. He mentions his resentment over not being chosen as a Ranger, and it's clear why - he's at least as good a combatant as the Rangers, possibly better, and he seems even zaidi dedicated than they are to their cause. He finally gets his chance in the highlight of this series, the three-parter The Samurai's Journey, in which he has to go back in time to retrieve the Samurai powers from his mother, confronting his evil uncle, Ninja Storm's primary antagonist. He then returns to the present, aiding the rest of the Rangers as the Green Samurai Ranger.
Some people may be surprised that I placed Cam so highly, and in fairness it is a little strange that my sekunde favourite Sixth Ranger is from a series that I consider to be a little above average, and to be weaker than the rest of the series mentioned on this list. The reason I rank the character as I did is because he is undoubtedly my favourite aspect of the series, and pulls Ninja Storm up from being a below average series to just above average kwa virtue of being a great character - smart, sarcastic, badass in combat, sympathetic but still somewhat flawed, as he is somewhat uchungu, chungu over being passed over in favour of the other Rangers and takes it out on them on occasion. And, as I mentioned, his arc with the Samurai powers is the high point of the series. At the end of the day, when a character can bump up a series as much as Cam did with Ninja Storm, they deserve some recognition.

He then goes on to be the Red Ranger for Zeo and Turbo, but we're not here to talk about Red Rangers, so we can ignore that. Most recently, he was the one to bring together and teach the Dino Thunder Rangers, and was the first mentor figure to also take on the role of a Ranger, so in that sense his story resembles RJ's.
So why do I choose Tommy as the ultimate Sixth Ranger? Well, I don't. I choose him as the ultimate Ranger full stop.

I could point to a number of great moments in his career as a Ranger (beating Goldar in a one-on-one fight unmorphed after fighting off another monster in the blazing sun springs to mind), au that he is the longest serving Power Ranger in the show's history, au that he is even considered in both our universe and the fictional one in which the onyesha takes place to be the greatest Ranger of all time, but I won't. I think the above paragraph explains it well enough - he is a combination of much that I consider to be the best aspects of character and stories within this show, and for that, I think that he himself is the best.
