Absolute Darkness
Narrator: “One siku the Twilight Zone may be no more, like us all, Things pass away. Do they songesha on, au just sleep, is all that is au will be stored eternally au is forgotten and in the end remembered kwa no-one? Never to be seen again, never to be resurrected, au is it resurrected in a new form? Here at the end of the twilight zone is absolute darkness, leading to what we call The Nightmare Zone.”
Characters: Mother, Father and Brother.
Scene 1:
Down a large snowy mountain in darkness, father and brother walk down toward a stone ruin, each bare footstep melting the snow in steam and mist. Covered only in rags they, go to the mother who is waiting siting on a sphere of stone.
Brother: “Hell to them, I say.”
Father:(looks up at the dark sky) “I do not believe they are real at all, All that is real is created kwa the mind, not kwa dreams.”
Brother:”That’s the last nyota in the sky, it will go out very soon.”
Father:”There is nothing there. That is just its last light, it has gone, there it is no-more.”
Brother: “To Hell With Them, In The Hell They Have Created, May They Never Find Peace.”
Father:”Come my son mother awaits, and remember they are not real, they are no more.”
Mother:”Come, we will rest and await sisters return.”
They sit down around the stone, on blankets that magically appear and canvas tent rolls out from empty air to shelter them from the uchungu, chungu cold wind.
Scene 2:
Inside the tent the stone sphere glows heats up and becomes the size of a football, and the residents of the tent relax as pillows appear and they look deep into the stone ball. There is a empty kitanda and they all look at it for a moment.
Mother: “I wonder how long sister will be?”
Brother: “I could fall asleep and get her.”
Father: “Wait a little longer, maybe she will appear.”
Mother magically holds a work of knitting, with a ball and needles and begins to knit.
Brother: “Why do wewe do that, whatever wewe want wewe can think of.”
Mother:” wewe always ask me that love, its in the detail, every atom crafted from memory examined and thought about, moved with loving care crafted kwa time.”
Father: “They never last, they are rags within a 1000 years, but it helps her pass the time.”
Brother: “Sister is taking too long, she knows the last light is fading.”
Mother:”Go to sleep dear, she will come back.”
Father: “Why do we still hold on to hope?”
Mother:”It passes the time.”
Brother looks out of the tent at the star.
Mother:”Stop it, wewe are letting the Darkness in.”
Father; “Maybe when she returns she will bring some light with her.”
Brother:”She uses zaidi light than she could ever gather, I will sleep, and try to find her.”
brother sleeps and disappears.
Mother smiles at father who shrugs.
Scene 3:
Brother and Sister appear as they awaken.
Brother(to Sister):”You got Lost again.”
Sister:”No I did not, it was wewe who were lost.
Brother:”I had to pretend I was a God, and wewe started worshipping me.”
Sister:”I was making fun of you.”
Brother:”I will have to go back and explain to that world that I came to find wewe not to be worshipped.”
Sister:”It your own fault, I was collecting Gigawatts of Energy per sekunde I was on a roll.”
Brother:”We are here to stop the end of time, not just to save each other.”
Sister:”They kill, rape and destroy, if we do not tell them not too, they are useless. It is killing that kills the universe, wewe know that, energy is free.”
Brother:”Now they may kill, in my name…. Mother.”
Father:”They are not real son. Remember the Human Race are Gone, they were just a Dream.”
Narrator: “A nyota has gone out in heaven, but in the nightmare zone, it may just as well have been hell, even if wewe sleep and dream of all the beauty that once was au could have been. wewe will always travel through the absolute darkness and return to the Twilight Zone.”
