Tears rolled over Elena’s cheeks as she held Damon in her arms. This could not be happening. This had to be a nightmare, one she needed to wake up from. She closed her eyes and memories of her and Damon flashed through her mind.
“I’m coming with you” she said. “Really?” Damon asked suspicious. “Damon, I ran through the rain. I’m soaked. Don’t go swali my honesty now” Elena said. “Okay, I just… I assumed you’d stay with your friend” Damon alisema still surprised. “You assumed wrong” Elena alisema calm. Damon focused on the car again, with no success. “I can’t get him started” he alisema annoyed. “Yeah” Elena alisema pointing at the gas meter. “You forgot to gas” Damon looked and groaned. “God, talking about cliché. Okay, we’ve got two options. We stay here until it stops raining, which could take hours. au we run” Elena stared at the rain. She knew what she wanted, but that didn’t make it the best option. She sighed and looked at Damon. “We can’t let Katherine wait any longer than she has to” Damon nodded and took the car key before getting out. He opened Elena’s door and helped her out. He threw her arm around his shoulder and lifted her in his arms.
No one ever carried her the way Damon did. And now he would never carry her again. Another memory crossed her mind.
Damon took her hands in his and looked her deep in the eye. “I upendo wewe for caring about me. I wouldn’t know what to do without you. But I could never fall for her all over again, while I’m loving you” He brought her hands to his lips and kissed her fingers.
No one ever looked at her the way Damon did. No one ever declared their upendo for her the way Damon did. And now he would never look at and speak to her again. As she felt her moyo break, a third memory came above.
He made a step mbele and placed his lips on her forehead, tasting the blood. He felt Elena’s warm breath breezing on his throat. He pulled away, and caressed her cheek. His eyes glided over her eyes, her nose, to her lips. This was wrong, he was taking advantage of the circumstances. And though he knew it was a lame excuse, he had to, and so he gently pressed his lips on hers.
No one ever kissed her the way Damon did. And now he would never kiss her again.
She felt a sudden heat and looked down at Damon, who’s body had caught fire. The flames contacted her flesh and though it burned she couldn’t let go of Damon. She screamed of internal and external pain.
She woke up with a shock and breathed heavy. The real Elena was back.

Katherine was sitting on a chair. A row of small stakes pinched each arm to the arm-rests and a special kind of muzzle kept her mouth shut. The muzzle also had stakes, smaller than the arm stakes, and they pierced through Katherine’s jaws. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” Veronica alisema demeaning. “Actually, I’m not. wewe had this coming. wewe broke in here, wewe threatened me” She took a chair and put it down in front of Katherine. “Such a pity Derek chose the wrong side. If he hadn’t Damon Salvatore would be sitting inayofuata to you”
Katherine managed to produce a smirk.
“Oh, don’t be so smug” Veronica sniffed. “I’ll get to him. He’s the one that killed Kelsey. He will die a slow and painful death” she said, zaidi to herself than to Katherine. She stood up and walked to a corner, where she picked up her cross-bow. “In the meantime” she said, while she aimed the crossbow at Katherine. “I have wewe to have fun with” and she fired.

“Where’s Barbie?” Katherine asked when Stefan was standing on the front porch of the Boarding House. She had gotten used to the sight of him with Rebekah.
“She’s out, doing something” Stefan explained vague. “Can I come in?”
Katherine shrugged and let him pass. Stefan turned around. “I’m looking for Elena. Is she here?”
“No, she’s at school. wewe should know that” Katherine alisema uninterested.
“Not anymore she isn’t” Stefan said. “School’s over”
“Then she’s probably at the Grill” Katherine said, a little annoyed. “What do wewe need her for anyway?”
“I want to apologize for what happened last time she came over” Stefan said. “And I want to make sure she’s okay. I mean, I know Rebekah’s blood already left her system kwa now, but still, it must have freaked her out”
He looked at Katherine who stared at some point behind Stefan. Stefan quickly turned around and saw Damon standing in the doorway.
