......Used it to kill an original??? That's what mikael & elijha said so if that's true than Damon was dead anyway wheter if the hyprieds killed him or him by killing klaus

1. The dagger they used on Originals only put them in a sleeping state so to speak. Mikael had a weapon that KILLED an Original. That's what they used on him.

2. If Klaus died, then the hybrids would have killed Damon (though I doubt this. Damon would have killed them anyway), and if Damon didn't kill Klaus then he would have killed him, but Stefan 'came through' so he didn't.
