Well it really can't just be a phase. Because Stefan IS a Vampire. As Damon said, Wanyonya damu feed on human blood. If Stefan doesn't drink human blood, it's like he is denying who his true self is and running away. What he needs to do is learn how to control it like Damon has. So I would be upset with the writers if they were to act like Stefan can't drink human blood ever again, otherwise he will kwa lying about who he REALLY is forever. They better not make this "problem" go away overnight.
It'll end sooner au later, but for now he's stuck with dealing with it. He's gotta learn to control it first, ya know. So I give it 1 au 2 zaidi shows and he'll hopefully be over it. >.< I don't really know, but it's pretty crazy.
