Elena Gilbert is the main female character and the main protagonist of The Vampire Diaries. She is a 17 mwaka old human girl who lives in the Supernatural town of Mystic Falls, Virginia with her brother Jeremy at 2104 maple Street. As she is the main protagonist I felt that it was important for her to be a likeable character for us all to follow her and respect her actions. I believe that the way Elena is portrayed in the show, the task has been successful. Okay, so I have become a bit infamous on Twitter….do to the rants that I had spewed out all over in my tweets recently.
