Is there anything you can tease about Grodd’s return to
It’ll be an action-packed hour, “in which Caitlin plays Fay Wray to Grodd’s Kong,” teases EP Andrew Kreisberg. I’m hoping that means something like this. Danielle Panabaker expands: “In season 1, you got to see a tiny bit of her relationship of Grodd. You’ll get to see a little bit more of that and understand their connection from before. He’s got some unfinished business with her, I’d say.”
By the end of Sunday’s episode, it looks like we’re on the way to at least two moments from the comics — neither of which are particularly good news. Get ready for a seriously tense hour.
You may have heard that Corbin Bleu will guest-star in an upcoming episode — well, I’ve got the exclusive details on his role. The ninth episode is called “Tone Death,” and it involves a murder in the world of competitive acapella. The
alum will play Hunter Washington, the leader of a rival acapella group. Aca-awesome!
How do Booth and Brennan not recognize the name Ichabod Crane during the
Basically, the show sets aside Washington Irving’s short story, so they’re unaware of a fictional character named Ichabod Crane in the first place. However, Crane does still raise suspicions during the two-parter. “There’s a moment where Crane is nearly busted,” Tom Mison teases. “It’s one of those nice moments where he has to talk himself out of it. I was wondering, ‘Is it really obvious that I’m lying?’ Then I thought I quite like that the more Ichabod is here, the worse he gets at being a spy and covering his ass, but he manages to cover his ass.”
When are we going to find out the effects of the Phoenix Stone on
Let’s just say that as of next week, Alaric is running out of time if he intends to use it on Jo. Here’s the thing about dead bodies: They don’t keep forever. So, Alaric is going to be faced with a big decision. In other words, we could find out sooner than you might think.
For those Abbie and Crane ‘shippers, the duo being around Booth and Brennan could be a good thing. “Maybe Crane and Abbie see us and say, ‘Wow the possibilities could be endless,’ ” David Boreanaz says. ” ‘I ended up marrying my partner. I ended up having children with my partner.’ ” But don’t expect that any time soon since Crane makes a move on his new love interest during the crossover.
Scary, right? But, to be fair, Malcolm was the mastermind behind her death. “He’s not afraid of her because, in his mind, he killed her once, he can kill her again,” John Barrowman says. “But he doesn’t know what she’s come out of the pit with. Everybody comes out of the pit different. People come out with a bit of every soul that has been put in the pit before. Some parts of those souls take over. Thea’s got a bloodlust. Damien Darhk’s got something else. What will Sara come out with?” We all caught that Darhk mention, right? Okay, good.
How is Amelia going to handle Penny being at the hospital on
Much like Meredith, it’s not going to be easy for Amelia to handle this. Fortunately, she may find a shoulder to lean on with Owen, though we’re going to see him struggle with his own set of problems very soon.
Don’t forget that Cami is still dealing with her “complicated feelings” for a particular monster, but that being said, never say never. Leah Pipes assured my colleague Samantha Highfill that we’ll be seeing more of the duo soon. “It’s nice for Cami to meet someone with solid morals,” Pipes says. But, “Like all relationships, it’s not happily ever after. Everyone’s a suspect and it’s complicated, and New Orleans is not a safe place to be. They’re not instant best friends and braiding each other’s hair, but there’s definitely something there.”
To put it simply, there’s a lot of loss coming. Next week, Gordon makes a deadly decision that costs him an ally. But the real shocker is the price a fan-favorite will pay when a surprising revelation spills out.
