So as wewe can see kwa the title, this makala is going to be on my opinions that would be deemed unpopular au least favored within this fandom. Hope wewe enjoy my ramblings.

1. My inayopendelewa dub of the onyesha is the 4kids dub.

Honestly, I don't see why so many people have such a problem with this dub. I have complaints saying that 4kids cut out scenes and changed the plot. I have seen episodes from Rai and the original and the only things they have changed are: Andros to Tides, Aisha to Layla, Domino to Sparks, Valtor to Baltor and Miele to Rose. These are only name changes and I don't see the issue. So someone is calling a planet differently? They haven't cut out any major plot points (like Nick did) and didn't change who the characters were.

The thing that tends to make 4kids stand out to the rest is the voices they gave the characters; they all fit perfectly. All other English dubs chose terrible dubs for the voices. The Trix, I believe, are best voiced in the 4kids dub. Icy has a cold, hard personality; Darcy having a sly, sensual and manipulative one; Stormy being brash, loud and even slightly childish. All of their voices fit their personalities. Even with the Winx; Flora's was sweet and soft; Stella's loud, slightly snobbish; Layla's firm yet kind...the voices just fit them amazingly.

Something else that I liked about the dub was the songs they incorporated into the series. The songs fit with the situation, were catchy and the ones imba it could actually sing. I don't really care for the Nick songs at all (especially that god-awful opening) and Rai's were alright. I just loved how much effort that 4kids made with the show--despite some people saying otherwise. And if wewe still think that 4kids "changed" the onyesha too much and was a bad dub, well, at least they didn't mash season two into an saa long special.



2. Flora is a plain and dull character.


Yes, I can admit that I once liked Flora but now that I look at her character zaidi in depth, I can see that she isn't really all that special.

First off is that I have noticed that most of her mashabiki only seem to like her because of her appearance. How low can wewe go? Apparently that low. I know someone being pretty is okay, I guess, but wewe should like a character for their personality and what they do.

Second, I don't find Flora's personality as relatable as mashabiki claim it is. Sure, she's shy and has self-confidence issues at times but these can be sorted out. Feeling shy is something easily overcome. When I began studying in a new school, I was shy, nervous and hardly spoke to anyone. I felt so awkward and out of place. But, I eventually made Marafiki and became comfortable within that environment--as anyone would. Her self-confidence issues (if that's what wewe could call them) are no instances that cannot be easily sorted out. She was shy with Helia--yeah, as would any sensible girl who has a crush on someone. Other than that, I don't see where all these "confidence" issues are. She always gets the support of her Marafiki and always defeats the enemy she's fighting.

Finally, we don't really know anything about her. Sure, sometimes that tends to add suspicion on the character--the mashabiki wanting to know zaidi about their history, but it's already been five seasons and we still don't know anymore about her background than we did in season one. So I don't see how she can be so relatable if we hardly know anything about her. People can relate to Stella because of her parent situation; people can relate to Layla because she was pushed to be someone she didn't want to be; people can relate to Musa if they know how bad it hurts to lose someone they care about. Flora? Oh yeah, she has a sister. Woo-hoo. wewe can't say she's your inayopendelewa character because wewe "relate" to her so much because...there is hardly anything to relate to.



3. I like Diaspro.

I don't really know how many of wewe will count this as unpopular, but I have seen quite a few people on here who do generally dislike Diaspro. Well, I'm here to tell wewe that I don't. In fact, she's one of my inayopendelewa [evil] female characters.

I like Diaspro because wewe barely know of her background, (and I might sound like I'm contradicting myself from my previou point, but I'm not. Flora is one of the main characters in the onyesha whom we've seen daily in episodes for 5 seasons. Diaspro is a minor character who we barely see in zaidi than 3-5 episodes in one season a lone. So, my awali point on Flora still stands) all except that she's royalty and I think that that adds to her character. Women who grow up in wealthy homes and with parents who upendo and nurture them usually don't end up growing into sociopaths. I find Diaspro to be a narcissist. She grew up wealthy and privileged and it seems that all she really cares about is her image and how something will make her look good. Though her marriage to Sky might have been arranged kwa their parents, I believe that she agreed to it zaidi than Sky did because I think she believed that it would assist in her image. Diaspro, I think, was selfish yet I think she was obsessive. She loved Sky and hated to see someone else with him and would literally do anything to get him back and get rid of the competition.

I think that she deserves zaidi fans, to be honest. Just because she humiliated Bloom and drugged Sky doesn't mean wewe have to hate her. Okay, yeah, drugging someone really isn't the best way to reconcile an old relationship, but, women in upendo have done worst. At least Diaspro didn't go psycho on Bloom. She at least had dignity...unlike Bloom--who just attacked her for having a picture of Sky on her. (she then thinking Diaspro was Icy...lol idgit)



4. Tecna, Layla and Roxy are my juu three characters.

I don't know if this should be counted as unpopular, but I have seen a fairly good amount of hate towards these three characters. And I just don't understand why.

I have seen people hating Layla and Roxy for taking the attention in seasons four and five. Like, seriously? wewe can handle Bloom being the center of attention for three seasons and two movies, but when someone else steps into the spotlight, they're the attention whore? Please.

I've also seen maoni saying that Layla and Roxy are Mary-Sue's. Uh--you must not know what a Mary-Sue is, then. Layla is far from being a perfect character. She was introduced in bad shape, risked her life throughout season 2 to save the pixies. In season 3 she was blinded trying to save the mermaid Queen and Andros was almost destroyed. In season four, Nabu was killed and in season five, her planet was under attack again. I mean, come on; it's like everything remotely bad that ever happens on the show, happens to her. For Roxy, her mother was taken from her as a child and she literally was raised on a lie. She never knew she had a mother au that she was a fairy. And then she was pretty much stalked and told kwa six bila mpangilio girls that she was a fairy. Add to the fact she had four middle-aged men chasing after her constantly, I think that would all make up a pretty shitty year.

Now back to the three in general. I've seen maoni saying that they are annoying. How? They hardly get any screen time and if they do, it's nothing special...so I don't see how wewe can classify any of them as "annoying". And to the maoni saying that they're ugly (Tecna and Layla especially): grow up. Honestly, none of the girls are ugly--some people just tend to find one au two having zaidi desirable traits to their tastes than the others. (like how I find Layla's hair and eye combo to work zaidi than Bloom's)
