Author’s Note: This one-shot is something I came up with after seeing link. I really should be studying but...when I have Epica playing in the background and inspirational picha popping up at me, I can’t not write something. This story is going to be zaidi light-hearted and jokey-joke. The main character is obviously going to be Tecna, and will be set in season six (but in an AU. Where she doesn’t wear that hideous pink animu-outfit). I hope wewe like it.

“At last...it’s finished!”
Her dark blue eyes shined with pride as she held the control system above her head. Tecna had been working on her latest game for months, and now she was finally finished. It had taken countless of prototypes and planning. She was usually good with gadgets and what-not, so not being successful the first few times really frustrated her. But the greatest inventions always started on a rocky path in the beginning. Even though it might have taken her a thousand tries, she had gotten it done and perfected to her exact specifications.
But the gaming-console itself wasn’t the only thing she had to strain her back night and siku over. Divising the plot for the game had been something that had taken her some time as well. She didn’t want to do another one based off of sci-fi. She had plenty of those already. She didn’t want to a ndoto game nor a mystery game nor a horror game. Eventually, Tecna had decided on a first person shooter.
The game’s objective was simple. All wewe needed to do was shoot missiles at the designated targets. Most first-person shooters these days had players shoot at monotone and repetitive things such as aliens au zombies au enemy soldiers. Tecna didn’t want any of that so she programmed a little twist into her game.
She was pretty sure that kwa now, almost all of the girls in the Winx had gotten sick and tired of how often their friend-or the zaidi appropriate term….leader-would be praised and practically worshiped as if she were the Great Dragon herself. Tecna was so frustrated how she and her other Marafiki would work their wings off but only get a simple pat on the back, whilst that red-headed fiend was thrown a party for sneezing a bit of fire.
The final straw had come when she and her other Marafiki had to earn the ever so infamous: Bloomix. How nuts was it that the little princess had an entire transformation based off of her as well? Tecna honestly believed that it was just a joke, really. Especially when one of the requirements was performing a heroic au brave act. Hmm…that sounds rather familiar. Didn’t Tecna almost die getting this rather unknown transformation? Oh yeah. And all she had to do this time was listen to Musa sing. Wowza.
So since Tecna couldn’t verbally tell Bloom how she personally felt, she had decided to create this first person shooter she decided to call “Fire Wall”. (Ironically of course, since one of Bloom’s spells had the same name). Tecna couldn’t wait to play this beauty.
“Hey Tecna, come on! We’ve got to go! The Trix have been spotted at Magix.” Musa said, and waved her hands frantically to try and signal that it was time for Tecna to get off her fairy booty.
Tecna rolled her eyes. But her back was facing Musa, so Tecna was the only one who noticed her own annoyance. Musa was getting on her nerves lately. She just wasn’t the same person she was when she first met her. Now all she did was wear these hideously bright colors and….skirts. Just thinking about her drastic wardrobe change made Tecna shudder.
She glanced down at her game lamentley before she got up. Just before she headed out the door, Tecna grabbed a nearby shoulder bag and stuffed her game inside. Yeah they were going on a mission, but that doesn’t mean Tecna had to participate. She already knew the outcome anyway; everything would seem hopeless and then Bloom would come in with her god-like powers and eradicate the enemy and save the day. Blah, blah, blah. She swore to herself that when no one was looking, she would sneak off to one of the nearby cafes and play her game.

“Leave these people a lone, Icy!” Bloom shouted. Her red hair flew in the wind as her colorful Bloomix wings fluttered frantically on either side of her. Her blue eyes narrowed at the ice witch and her lips curled into a grimace. Her hands had clenched into fists and bright, billows of flames had surrounded either of them.
The witch gave the group a round of cold laughter after Bloom’s little statement. “And what makes wewe think I’m just going to leave because wewe told me so?” She snapped back. Her own hair billowed in the wind, but instead of wings, the long cuffs of her juu followed after her sleek streaks of white hair. Her icy-blue eyes lit up in exuberance as she imagined taking down this pesky little girl who had been a thorn in Icy’s side ever since they first met five years ago.
“Well, I warned you….go get her, girls!” Bloom shouted, and pointed at their targets: the Trix.
Most of the girls followed Bloom’s orders and each of them fired off a series of attacks. Well, that’s the thing. Most of the girls followed her order. Tecna was the only one of the group who had stayed put--on the ground, with her hands on her hips--a rather bored expression on her face.
The sekunde eldest sister, Darcy, noticed this and landed near to fairy of technology. With a snap of her fingers, she had changed from her with outfit to her normal old purple juu and long-bottom jeans. She was a bit surprised that Tecna wasn’t moving from her position; she seemed pretty set on just standing there and watching the fight ensue above her. Darcy wanted to attack, but there was really no fun in attacking someone who wasn’t even engrossed in the battle themselves. So she turned invisible and just stood there to watch what the girl would do-if she would even do anything.
Tecna had no idea that the witch of darkness was spying on her, so she took this as a chance to finally try out her new game. Since everyone seemed to be pretty preoccupied on Icy and Stormy, she glanced around and tried to find a decent cafe. She frowned but then noticed a bench not too far off. She hopped off the ground and flew towards the small wooden safe-haven. As she sat down, her Bloomix outfit disappeared and erupted into a thousand little sparkles around her. She swatted at the dust irritably, before she took out her game-console from her bag.
She turned it on and when everything was set, she began the game. The little Bloom-sprite appeared off in the far distance of her side map. She smirked and began to cock her gun. Well, it was really a rocket launcher. She moved her character into a crouching position and then looked through the scope to get the perfect shot. When it was perfectly aligned, she pulled the trigger (or pressed the appropriate button) and the simulation of Bloom was sent flying off in the direction from where the rocket came.
“Whatcha got there pixie?” Darcy sneered, as she slung her arm across Tecna shoulders.
Tecna didn’t even seem fazed kwa the witch. “Hmm? Oh, Harmony Smash….or something…” She mumbled. A grin suddenly appeared on her face as she destroyed yet another Bloom sprite; who merely flailed in desperation before she was blown up once again.
Darcy noticed the little game Tecna was playing and she couldn’t help the cruel smile of enjoyment she got as she watched the missiles destroy the simulation of that insufferable little red-headed menace. Yet, she still had this feeling of slight disappointment. It was all fun and games watching Bloom explode and suffer, but she still didn’t get the euphoria as if it were actually happening. That’s when a clever little idea crossed Darcy’s mind. She nonchalantly raised her finger and zapped the device with a stream of purple of energy.
Tecna didn’t notice the disturbance of course so she just continued on playing. She noticed that the area her character was walking around in had changed. What was once a desolate wasteland, was now a bustling city….one that looked oddly familiar. But her suspicions were moved to the back of her mind (to be brought up and investigated further, later, of course) when she spotted her target. She took aim and….
“Heads up!” Layla shouted and quickly ducked from the incoming projectile-which seemed to come from out of nowhere.
All the Winx flew out of the missiles path….all except one. Bloom was far too busy occupying herself with Icy to notice such a thing. She had finally cornered the ice witch to the wall. Icy was one the ground and Bloom was in the air. She obviously had the upper hand in the situation. That is, before she noticed the bright green weapon headed in her direction. Bloom let out a shrill scream and shot in the opposite direction of its path.
Tecna sneered. “Don’t think you’re going to get away that easily!” She used a joy-stick near the juu of the screen to direct the kombora, yamuua to keep it on her target’s heels. All the while, she had not noticed her….friend, for a lack of better terms, as she ran in circles trying to avoid the projectile.
Icy frowned. She was confused. Very confused. Where had that thing come from? She started to look for the source, and that’s when she noticed Darcy. She rolled her eyes. Of course she was the cause of this. Well, there was no point in spoiling some free entertainment.
