Nvr heard of the other show

So I recently finished watching the two seasons of"Angel's Friends"and the movie and I must say that I am surprised at how much I actually liked it.The plot was great,I loved the romance between Raf and Sulfus, the moral lessons that it teaches are great,I liked the personalities of the angels and devils and the villaisn are great too.Now don't get me wrong I love Winx Club too but I just think that Angel's Friends is a little bit better mostly because it reminds me of Wedding Peach(which is one of my favorite magical girl animes).

Well I like the old Winx Club(season 1-3 and the"Secret Of The Lost Kingdom"movie)much more than Angel's Friends because the plot is more mature,has more action,better music and I like the Winx girls more but I must say that a thing that makes Angel's Friends better than Winx are the villains.A thing that always bothered me about Winx Club is that all the villains have basically the same motive and don't have any background story that explains why they are evil.Angel's Friends they tried to make Reina a bit more sympathetic by revealing the reasons why she became evil.When it comes to Cassidy the viewer has a conflict whether her motives are evil or not.All that she wants is for the 1000 year war to continue so that the angels can destroy the devils in order to create a perfect world in which evil doesn't exist.The question that arises to the viewer is:Should an angel be considered a villain just because she is doing her job to protect the world from evil?And isn't this what all humans want?So it is very easy to support Cassidy.On the other hand this would cause a huge disharmony which makes her look as a villain.

Yup the villains in Angel's Friends are much better than in Winx.When I watched season 2 I was like forget the stupid Trix from Winx Club,Cassidy and Kubral are the real deal.I also liked Blue.Reina was also a pretty good villain and I kinda do feel sorry for her.The villains in Angle's friends also have cooler powers too.I must say that Angel's Friends has some other aspects that make it better than Winx like having 2 antagonists that are angels.The fairies are good and witches are bad cliche in Winx Club is pretty annoying.Its true that Mirta was a good hearted witch but they still had to stick to the cliche I mentioned when Mirta became a fairy.You might argue that Diaspro is a villain even though she is a fairy but she was never really any serious harm for the universe so no I don't consider her as a real villain.I also don't consider Nebula,Diana and Aurora as villains or evil but just misguided and obsessed with revenge,in the end they all become good again anyway.I also thing that Sulfus is a better main male character than Sky.Angel's Freinds also teaches some pretty good and useful moral lessons.

Nice study on Cassidy's character.She is my favorite character from the show and no I personally don't consider her evil because all that she wants to do is taking out the trash XD

You just can't keep yourself from not dissing the Trix,right?XD but yeah Cassidy and Kubral are great villains and made season 2 worth watching.

Taking out the trash LOL.Yeah,Cassidy is a pretty awesome character.My personal favorite is Reina but Cassidy is a close second.I love the fact that in season 2 they choose to use the warrior angel concept with the background story about the 1000 year war between the Angel's and Devils and Cassidy being the former general of the Angelic army because I was getting annoyed by seeing angels as either cute teenage guardians angels wearing mini skirts or as professors.

I don't really like Angels Friends. I've seen a bit of it, thought it was rather annoying, and stopped watching it.

The show actually becomes much better as it progresses(especially in the last 26 episodes).Although I must say that the theme song of the English dub is just horrible whichc might turn off many viewers because it sounds like a song for babies.The original Italian song is pretty good,though.

Angel's Friends is a nice show.. But Winx Club is Winx Club... ☺☺

I think Winx Club is better....
