Chapter 4: My Stuff is Off-Limits So Hands Off
James Rivers flipped over boxes searching for that one book. This book shouldn't have been this difficult to find. How could it disappear? No one knows about it but his wife and him. He knew his wife didnt want to gi near it lr the attic. He was positive Simone au Brooke didn't come near the attic in the past week. They didn't know that he was alway watching their every move. A concerned parent was how he thought of himself. He was sure they would never do such a thing even when he told them about the attic. He surveyed the entire room. This would be his thirteenth time today. He checked every nook and cranny and all he discovered were some ugly platform shoes and a boa. How hard could it be to find a red yearbook, his Glynn Academy yearbook to be exact. The only thing that Sammy the Booker wanted was his yearbook and he couldn't even deliver that.
Sammy was an old pal of Jason's. They met in high school a long time ago. Sammy was the tough bully who was always looking for personal slaves and Jason was a natural leader who needed guidance on how to become a leader. Sammy fancied Jason because of his leadership skills. He also saw some potential on Jason that no one else could see. Sammy had put Jason in charge of one of his most successful businesses, D.B.E. Jason took the job happily. It wasn't everyday that the school bully became your friend. It may have changed him along the way but Jason was to engrossed in it to stop now.
Although, Sammy and Jason were Marafiki that did not mean that Sammy treated Jason better then the others. It was a rule to Sammy to treat others the way others are treated. He made Jason pay like everyone else. He made him tough kwa kicking his butt every Monday morning before school started. It was Sammy's way of saying thank you. Sammy was what is none as an overgrown teenager au a held back adult. He was gigantic compared to everyone else and he was way stronger too. Sammy wanted Jason to follow in his footsteps. Sammy cared for him like a son. So when Sammy the Booker wanted something, wewe gave it to him, no maswali asked.
Every third Saturday, Jason had to do one favor for Sammy because Sammy did so much for Jason during their high school years. Although, when Jason looks back on it, he realized that Sammy only made his life worst. If Jason did the favor right, Sammy would help Jason with one thing, one small thing. This mwezi Sammy wanted a yearbook, not just any yearbook, he wanted Jason's senior mwaka yearbook. Junior and Senior were the years Jason started working for the D.B.E. Sammy would be so upset when Jason told him he had Lost it. Sammy would be infuriated. wewe do not want to see an overgrown man angry. It isn't a pretty site.
"Honey, Marco is down here," called Cheryl, his beloved wife. Jason stormed downstairs to find Marci Martinez resting on his black leather couch. It wasn't everyday wewe saw your enemy in your house. Jason ignored the anger. He had to be the bigger man.
The men had nothing to say to each other. Their friendship ended years zamani when he sided with Jena. Marco knew there must be another reason then jut him siding with Jena. A deeper reason. They just sat their in Jason's study. It was completely silent. Jason was thinking how angry he was with Marco even if that happened in high school. The betrayal apparently never left him. He must have been pushing it aside. Marco was thinking about what went wrong in his life. What went wrong? After about 30 dakika of silence, Marco spoke up.
"Nice to see you, Jason," he said.
"Cut the crap, why are wewe here? Aren't wewe suppose to be dead?" Jason raises one eyebrow like his daughter Simone always do. It runs in the family.
"Jason, friend, I know wewe didn't purposely try to trap Jena and me in a burning house. It was an accident right?" Jason huffed. Marco continued as if he didn't notice. "Look Sammy found me."
"I know, he tells me everything remember," Jason replied. He shifted nervously in his seat. Sammy tells him nothing.
"Then wewe know what he is planning for the girls right? Since they are in their sophomore year, he wants to get the ball rolling." Jason perked up. He wasn't expecting that news. The girls could not be in that business. It was cruel, hard, and dangerous. It was a miracle Jason Rivers, Joseph Knight, Marco Martinez, Carter Stone, and Jena Knight made it out of high school alive. Well, some still lived.
"Now? He couldn't, he knows the rule. Girls can not handle the work. Heck! We couldn't even handle the work!" Jason leaped out his chair and stared in anger at Marco but the anger wasn't directed towards Marco, it was directed towards Sammy. That was something he wasn't expecting today. "We gotta stop him."
"Already ahead of you. I've decided to tell them. We should tell them everything that happened in high school," alisema Marco.
"You really are insane. That is just putting them in zaidi trouble! I won't go along with this plan. I'm warning wewe to forget it also," alerted Jason.
"Then there is nothing left to say." Marco stood up from the kitanda and left out the door. A few sekunde later wewe could hear the roar of his used pickup truck. He hasn't changed.
Jason went back looking for his yearbook. He even tried looking in his private room which is located above the attic. No luck. Once zaidi his wife called him down for a visitor was here. When Jason saw who it was, his moyo skipped a beat. "Now I'm positive wewe are suppose to be dead."

I feel like the world has melted away
Like there's nothing but you
The power's inaonyesha between us
I'm always speechless when I'm with you
But sometimes the silence is worth more
Can wewe feel the eyes lock?
It's like the whole world has gone
We are the only ones
In this sweet endless heaven
And I always want to keep enjoying it
siku kwa day
When I'm with you
There's nothing else wewe can do
We are the only ones who have this secret bond
mwaka kwa year
We're Lost in this world
This deep, sweet large world
Where people from each country come to love
We're Lost in this world...forever
........ Kairtlyn sighed. Normally she would get eighteen coins this siku from selling flowers, but she got two today. She picked her maua, ua basket. Nobody in Sderina would want flowers now. They are celebrating the Dutchess Maira's birthday. As she walked, two guards pointed a her.
"She's the Duke's daughter!" one of them shouted. The guards began to chase her. She ran away, and slipped....
(literally 80 dakika later...)
"There she was!" one of the guards said. She had fainted, and she was opening her eyes....
"What are wewe doing with me?!" she shouted.
"We want wewe to live at the Duke's castle......"
(To Be Continued.)

This is my first full-length story that I've made.
wewe know, I would post it here chapter kwa chapter, but there's 23. And that would entirely cover up 'The Deadly Truth' (I know that should probably be underlined but my computer sucks and that isn't an option on here) chapters that are up thus far so I'm not doing that xD
Based off of the Percy Jackson series.
Note: This story kind of stinks, especially the first five chapters. Eve is a major Mary-Sue at the beginning, I think, but fanfiction.net won't let me change it so I can't really do much about it (plus I'm a sentimental weirdo who doesn't like to change things-- really gotta get over that). The sekunde story, which I'll post after I get feedback on this, is WAY better. I'm on chapter 14 of that and it's already longer than the first and kwa FAR zaidi descriptive and all. I blame myself for being younger when I started the first one :P

Caysee
Oh Caysee
Casee, Caysee,
Can't wewe see
Your upendo isn't fit
For wewe and me
Caysee, why won't wewe understand
I don't want to take your hand
Oh
Caysee
Why can't wewe find someone else,
Oh Caysee?
Caysee, don't feel so blue
wewe can find a boy for you.
(repeat 2x)
Caysee, why cant wewe see
You're just not the one for me.
Just please understand
Our upendo isn't grand.
I don't wanna make a fit in front of the muziki stand
Caysee
Can't wewe see
You're not the one for me
Caysee, oh Caysee
Oh, can't wewe see???!!!
wewe can never be...
the one....
for me...
