Chapter 15
Sleeping in
I yawned as I raised my head from the security of my lovely pillow, expecting the lovely outputting colors of my kitanda room I was surprised to see creepy bright white paint on the walls, with no pictures whatsoever.
I jerked up from my position and noticed I was on one of those things in the doctors office the kid gets to sit on for whether it was for a check-up au sickness, I quickly calmed down when I realized I was in the nurse’s office, our lovely nurse was on her computer typing, and I noticed a familiar pretty girl sleeping cutely in the chair, snoring softly.
I smiled as Beth turned her position, a small smile on her face. Our nurse was still on the computer, and as I surveyed the room I noticed the bathroom door was closed.
Yawning again, I looked to the cute little watch Ryler had aliyopewa me and I widened my eyes, it was almost time to leave, we had about ten dakika left.
“Sorry sweetie, but your going to have to stay in here for the remainder of the day, au as wewe kids like to say, until the kengele rings.” My inayopendelewa nurse says.
I smiled. “Oh, too bad. I was so excited for class.”
“I know, but your going to have to hold on to that excitement for awhile, I’m sorry for wewe sleeping in, even though how much wewe wanted to attend classes.” wewe could sense the sarcasm.
“Sorry,” I mutter.
She shakes her head. “Don’t be sweetie, wewe need your sleep. wewe nearly had me worried, I almost thought wewe guys had fainted.”
“Really?” I asked.
She nodded. “The dakika wewe guys laid down wewe fell asleep, wewe guys make poor old me worry.”
“Your thirty-five.” I say.
“Don’t tell anyone.”
I roll my eyes, holding in my laughter as to not wake up Beth. Miss nurse turns towards me.
“I mean it though, you, sleep, pronto. wewe came here at seven fourty and fell asleep to wake up to one thirty one. wewe guys need your sleep, to function, and your friend-”
“Beth never came here in our years of being here, she’s like never gotten sick for awhile.”
She nodded appreciatively. “But the poor thing’s tired, I mean, look-”, she pointed at Beth. “She’s got some mighty dark circles under her eyes.”
“What!? I didn’t see that earlier!” I look back at her eyes, alarmed.
Miss nurse nodded. “That’s because she had make-up to conceal it, but when I found out wewe weren’t leaving soon I took it off. The girl has been sleep deprived and she needs it very much au it will take a serious toll on her health. Do me a big favor and make sure she gets her sleep.”
I nodded. “Of course.”
Miss nurse nodded happily. “Well then, wewe might want to leave her to sleep more, au wewe can take her back nyumbani but be careful as to not wake her, yeah?”
I nod.
“Oh and make sure she goes to sleep early today and has breakfast, and if she doesn’t…I don’t know, just don’t let her go to school.”
I smiled deviously. “I’ve got my ways.”
Miss nurse nodded. “I’m sure wewe do. Might as well get your bags, there right there.”
I looked to where she pointed and sure enough our bags were put neatly kwa both of us. As I went to reach them Beth stirred in her sleep and I was careful as to not make noise.
I sighed. “What to do?…”
As I had my mental battle with myself, the kengele rung, and I held in a groan. Let her sleep here, au take her nyumbani to rest. Making my decision I picked up my phone and dialed the first name that came to mind.
“What?!”
“Well hello to wewe too,” I say immediately offended.
“Sorry Pam, I’m just a bit…angry.”
“Yeah, well I need wewe to come to school to get Beth.”
“What?! Why?! What’s wrong?!”
“Calm down wewe blubber blub, she’s just…really tired, as in really super humongous tired. I’m at the nurse’s office in school and I want her to rest in her house.”
“Fine, I’m coming.”
I smiled. “Thanks Adam!”
“Whatever.”
I narrowed my eyes. “Hey, wewe still owe me for touching my hair with those contaminated hands.”
“Yeah? Well wewe still owe me for-”
“Love wewe bye,” I cut him off quickly, and close my phone.
Miss nurse is shaking her head, amused. “This generation.”

Yeah Uhuh
Yeah Uhuh
Yeah Uhuh
(Verse 1)
I am in upendo
with the guy who is sweet
till we meet it isn't possible
(Chorus)
We need to meet
before we go Undercover
for each other
We need to meet
before we go Undercover
for each other
(Verse 2)
We haven't met yet
Still Single hearted
thinkin' 'bout each other
everyday
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
Now & Then
Everyday, going separate
paths and ways
thinkin' we need to meet
in the middle before we go Undercover
(Pre-Chorus)
We never stopped goin'
separate paths and ways
passing broken hearts and scars
I'm gone, gone, gone, gone
Now,
(Chorus)
(Chorus)
I can't stand it any longer
goin' all crazy
when I get really lazy
Undercover

We need to meet before we go Undercover
Slowly,
Hand in hand,
We stroll towards the beautiful beach,
Never taking our eyes off the red sky.
We are together now,
And we face anything that will take us on,
With determination and unity,
Slowly.
The wave washes us into the ocean,
Taking us in,
Slowly, killing us bit kwa bit,
But we never let go of each other.
When we are together,
We will never die.
There is no chance of that,
It is impossible.
The power of being together
Surges into both of our souls,
And the angry waves crash against
Our faces,
But we still never let go.
We are undivided.
Nothing, ever, can keep us apart,
au even separate us.
Because, wewe see,
We are bound.
We are bound
kwa the ropes of love,
Forever.
Nothing,
No one,
Can cut those ropes.
Not now,
And not ever.
Hand in hand,
We stroll towards the beautiful beach,
Never taking our eyes off the red sky.
We are together now,
And we face anything that will take us on,

I look down at the snow below
Thinking of its familiar glow
I remember the trees that tore at my wet clothes
And the horrid wind that stung my nose
I tripped and had fell to weak to move
Thinking I had nothing to lose
My eyes began to close and I started to drift away
My mind refusing to disobey
It took me kwa the hand and I felt warm
Almost glad to be taken kwa the storm
Now I watch from up above wondering what I did wrong
And why I was one chosen to sing the angels song
Thinking of its familiar glow
I remember the trees that tore at my wet clothes
And the horrid wind that stung my nose
I tripped and had fell to weak to move
Thinking I had nothing to lose
My eyes began to close and I started to drift away
My mind refusing to disobey
It took me kwa the hand and I felt warm
