This couple has an amazing storyline, its not the cliche boy meets girl in the slightest.

Let's try this version:

Boy meets girl in university, boy and girl have sex, boy and girl don't see each other for 20 years, boy comes to girl when other doctors have messed up a diagnosis on him, girl cuts out part of his leg and leaves him crippled for life, boy becomes miserable and shuts out the world and becomes addicted to Vicodin, girl becomes boy's boss and head of the hospital.

And that's the story when the show starts ;)

Chair storyline is interesting too and it's really difficult.

Logan and Veronica were close friends, he dated Lily (Veronica's bestfriend) and she dated Duncan (Logan's bestfriend/Lily's brother) but after Lily is murdered, Veronica's sheriff dad accuses Duncan's affluent father of the crime. After someone else confesses to the murder the town is against Veronica's family, her father loses his job, Duncan begins to ignore her, Logan bullies her and she becomes a social pariah at school. A year passes and Veronica is still a loner who begins doing P.I. work with her father, and helping kids at school with various problems. Logan's mother apparently commits suicide by jumping off a bridge but Logan doesn't believe it so he asks Veronica to find his mother, she agrees and the two start an uneasy alliance, after Veronica proves that his mother is in fact dead, Logan breaks down in her arms. Now on friendlier terms Logan comes to Veronica's rescue and in return she gives him a peck as a thank you, but then he grabs her and kisses her passionately. They begin to hook up in secret so that Duncan (who still has feelings for Veronica) doesn't find out.

And that's how their romantic relationship starts.
