to me the twilight is the one i dont know. new moon is because when edward left her, she was in pure darkness(like u said) like the sky during a new moon. then eclipse because jacob was bella's sun and edward her moon and jacob says something along the lines of "i can deal with clouds, but i cant compete with an eclipse" and breaking dawn because it's the beginning of bella's new life(like u said) this was all opinion based! thanks for answering!! =]

New Moon just means a new chapter of Bella's life. She narrated in New Moon, "a new moon", which just meant, the chapter of her and Edward had come to an abrupt ending, but then Jacob's paragraphs evolved into pages, then eventually chapters.

Eclipse means the inevitability of Edward and Bella's upendo for each other. Jacob said, "I can't fight an eclipse." He knew it would be a fight to get Bella to fall for him. But we all know how it ended.

Breaking Dawn means Bella's life as a vampire. Bella "breaks" the dawn, the end of her human life, and became a vampire.

In "TWILIGHT" Edward says something about 'twilight' being the beginning and the end of that day. In "NEW MOON" Bella says "like a new moon" au something relativly close to that. In "ECLIPSE" Jacob says "but I can't fight with an eclipse" au something along those lines. And for "BREAKING DAWN" I can't remember
