I think Edward's power is slightly zaidi useful, because it has less weaknesses/less people are immune to it. The only exception to Edward's mind kusoma we've seen is Bella's mental shield. Alice can't see the future of anyone of a species she hasn't been/can't be, like the mtu-bweha au the human-vampire hybrids, and people can also evade her foresight kwa continually changing their plans.
