Why didnt the Cullens come back in New Moon when Bella was almost killed kwa Laurant?

Wouldnt Alice have seen bella in the meadow about to get killed and than see her completley dissaper when the Mbwa mwitu loups came? i just thought of it cause im kusoma new moon again its werid. does anyone know wht the cullens didnt come back to see if bella was alive?

yea i felt this part was wierd too.. why could Alice see her jump off a cliff but not when Laurent was going to kill her? i was sure Alice would've seen that and that was when they were going to return to save her and keep her safe..

then how could alice even see her if she was near jacob, which she was becuz he was the one that pulled her out of the water

Remember that Alice cant see the Mbwa mwitu loups and when Bella was with Laurent the Mbwa mwitu loups were ACTUALLY ON THEIR WAY so her fate was mixed with theirs and Alice wouldn't have been able to see her being attacked at all.
